generally just bolted down, my one had rubber washers between the screws which left a few marks but could come off pretty easily. Although I've seen some that have had 3m strips used with them.
-
60,000 km's doesnt mean everything, the car is still as old as its build date. Things are still going to wear down just not at the same rate if it hasnt been used as much.
-
Would it be worth importing it and then re-registering it once its 20 years of age as a classic car.
-
nice car buddy, be sure to checkout the South Auckland Meet thread here

www.germanplates.com you only need 2 sets of plates and 2 brackets - standard screws work fine. If you want screws, I've got 2 spare sets if you want to use them.

You can modify your car with as much stuff as you want, but its the end result that means the most, if your gonna do a job do it properly, dont settle for half arsed. You see alot of cars that have some mods that really suit it, and some that are just there because they were offering cheap tinny spoilers for cheaps on trademe at the time. Chrome hydra's dont suit it for a start, the lights I dont think suit it much atall as they look as though they have been added on afterwards, you need to add in some smokey look to make it blend more into the car. Everyone is open to there own preferences to what they like and what they dont like. As far as I'm concerned, there is: modding a car with bits that suit it, and theres modding a car because companies make bits that fit it.
-
yeah actually a slight smoke on those lights would make them look a bit more acceptable, they're a little too light for the paintjob / chrome wheels. So dont match that well.
-
well yeah I found a place a few months back before I decided to get smoked that was gonna do them for $110 incl delivery, thats not bad considering that $199 is his opening bid not his reserve.
-

I hate people that dont respect other peoples rides, I dont care if its a Skoda - its someones car, if you deface someone elses pride and joy be prepared to face the consequences.
