  3. 1984 BMW E30 335i $2499ono Well its time to sell my baby. Now that I live in Oz and the car has been in storage for more than 2 years. Its time to move on. No WOF, Rego on Hold full compliance certificate - passed last WOF with no problem. It is still in the car for potential sellers to view. Engine: M30b34 engine from a E32 735i approx 130kw at rear wheels, 380nm@4000rpm Custom extractors Gearbox: 4 speed Manual from a E23 732 Custom driveshaft 3.45:1 LSD diff cruse control electric 2 way sunroof, windows and side mirrors k&n air filter urethane engine mounts, steering arms, trailing arms and sub-frame bushes installed. chrome bumpers short shift kit 4 wheel disc brakes brembo brake rotors Comes with both an S/E steering wheel and a Mtec 1. black door cards rear vision mirror map light tweeter pods facelift headlights VDO instrument panel racing dynamics strut brace comes with the 16' ROH Z's wheels (Hankook RS2 tyres) I sure all are still legal. also with 6 x 14' bottlecaps with tyres. I am unsure on the actual kilometers the engine, gearbox, or car has traveled. The small gear that turns the km numbers over is broken. This car is not in perfect condition, there is some surface rust behind the rear wheels. And it has a small clutch problem, as it does not fully release. easy fit for a DIY home mechanic. This car has been in storage for more the 2 years. Thats why it has no WOF and the rego onhold. If you want to see the car it is at a friends place out papakura way. Please contact me first. No swaps, im not parting out the car. If you want the LSD, you will have to buy the complete car. This car is advertised else where. Thanks Tim
  4. Engine and gb SOLD!!! Mtec 2 wing still up for grabs
  5. I would go with a MAP sensor setup. eg LINK computer or an APEXI SAFM controller that would allow you swap the stock airflow meter for a hotwire AFM. I would guess an increase of 20 to 30% in HP over a stock 325i. Maybe a little bit more in torque as well.
  6. The idle is out because, because the cam's large blowby, closes the afm flap at low rpm. I only ever had the stock airflow meter on, which is not suitable. A more advanced setup would help solve this problem. Yes, this will fit. Forgot to list items, Oil cooler (lines and radiator) Fogger oil has been sprayed in the cylinder heads to keep it lubed and corrosion at bay. I will list more photos soon.
  7. For sale a race engine project, that is now collecting dust. I have moved out of the country and left my car bits in my parents shed. A M20B27 engine from a 86 325i. Engine has done about 190,000kms before the rebuild started. This engine was a 2.5L. I have completed a 'e' block on the 'i' head conversion to make it a 2.7L. The cam has been changed to a 282' degree race cam. The engine did not like to idle very well. The block is the one with the steam holes in between cyl 3 and 4. The rockers are Korman Engineering alloy rockers. These alone cost $800 for 12. The deck has been dropped 100thou to increase compression to about 11:1. The big end, cam front bearing have all been replaced. Intake manifold and loom included. Needs: cam belt, water pump, and a car to go in. The gearbox is a G260 and comes with Motronic 1.1 sensors, flywheel, pressure plate and clutch. I am wanting $1200 for the lot. I dont want to split it up. Other items for sale: E30 sump guard $100 Mtec 2 spoiler and boot lid (Diamond Black) $120 Edit: more pics All parts are in Tauranga. I live in Canberra now, hence the reason to sell. PM me or call +61 451 830 979 for more details
  8. I looking for a washerbottle with (or just) a pump off a Mitsubishi Cordia. Does this car share the same parts with any other car? Need one for a WOF
  9. Check you fuses first! Also use a multimeter to check them as well. Sometimes these can look fine but may have a hairline frackure, that can be unseen. Next check the ground wires have good earth.
  10. I was planning on splashing out on a tank of 98. I will see on what the quote on a custom made cover will cost.
  11. I got about 200 to throw at it.
  12. Im after a car cover for my E30 while its in storage. Anybody recomend any particular products or ones to stay away from? The car will be kept inside a dusty barn, with a concrete floor. Thanks

    Carpet Dye

I have used the VHT stuff. I think it did a good job. I went mad with it and brushed it in to make it go deeper. Also washed it twice and hosed the carpet down several times before hand.
