Few little updates. I did some exhaust work on the vert and man it's livened it up a whole lot. I chucked on my headers and test pipe and deleted the resonator and put in two coby resonators in it's place. These are so much better. I have noticed a difference in power delivery and I must say I am stoked. I also finished one out of 4 wheels to see what I will be eventually going with for my wheel set up. Here are some pics for those interested

As the title states. I have a f3x chassis 4 piston brembo front and 2 piston brembo rear brake set up for grabs. I paid 1400 for this off a European wrecker in Auckland and was going to fit them to my F30 but have since sold the car. They come with soft lines, 340mm rotors on the front and 345mm rotors on the rear with the bigger backing shields to swap onto your vehicle as well . Pick up is in Glenfield and shipping at your expense.
Kind regards
SJ.

Started polishing the faces to my 3 piece wheels today. They are very rare wheels released under the brand Racing Direction from Japan and made by Duke Project. They will be 16x8.5 and 16x9.5 with ET 13 up the front and ET 10 at the rear. Going for a full polished wheel with gold bolts and a red custom centre cap to tie into the interior. Will probably be electroplating the inner face of the rims in gold to tie in with the bolts too but faces mirror polished. Stay tuned.

Yeah it's definitely been redone. It's so supple and the workmanship is excellent. Bump 1000 bucks bimmersport members

Today I chucked on my black and grey personalized plates which came on Monday, wish I had them for the British and European Classic car show. I also put in a Miller MAF V3 and War chip which I had laying around for like 4 years. Noticeable difference in acceleration and the fuel delivery seems a lot smoother. Highly recommend.

Ahh so you're South I'm guessing? Yeab man. I have been watching this progress intently and it's so good watching it come to fruition! Glad you got a good local shop man! Definitely have to catch up for a looksie at each other's cars!

New input shaft seal for the gearbox. Was super careful putting this one in, made sure it went in as square as possible and tapped it just barely below flush.
Didn't take many photos since I was really trying to get the car driveable for this week. Motor back in, cooling stack in.
I installed a new MAF sensor, O2 sensors, fuel pump. But I still had a rough idle. Eventually discovered it was the MAF connector itself. The female pins were quite loose which meant that with the airbox off and the intake tube moving around with the engine the contact was not good. I squeezed the pins tighter and fitted the airbox so everything was solid and the idle was perfect. A quick look at the fuel trims in INPA suggest they are perfect but I'll do a proper log later and see how things look.
Front end taking shape
Back on the ground, first time seeing the final ride height (will settle a bit) with the new bilstein B8s and eibach springs. Pretty much perfect for what I was looking for seeing as it will be my daily.
Cabin filter and new windshield cowl fitted. Unfortunately I'm still missing the front air duct that feeds the airbox. The one of the donor car was broken so I'll have to make a trip to the scrap yard to get one.
Interior assembled with a few nice new parts, I'm still repairing the driver seat so I have temporarily fitted the driver bucket seat from the M3.
Sorry Olaf, this ones getting a badge.
Car got a much needed wash and out for it's first quick test drive.
Absolutely stoked with this thing. It's very quick, corner to corner it's not really any slower than the M3. Not quite as much zing as the S54 up top but much smoother and torquier low down. Still a few details to finish it off:
- Driver seat
- AC re-gas
- Air intake scoop
- Exhaust hangers, the 325ti has unique hangers which I didn't pony up for resulting in the tail pipes not sitting quite centred
- It's too quiet. I like my cars quiet but at idle you wouldn't even know the thing is running. It has a fully stock 325ti exhaust, so I think I'm going to open up the small centre resonator and gut it and see what that sounds like.
- Z4 FCABs
- Alignment
- Tyres, the Chinese ones on it are not up to scratch for the B30 torque
- Custom plate I think, this one is a keeper I love it too much already.
This is a wicked little build dude. Been watching with anticipation! Can sort your ac regas if ya need

Attended the British and Euro Classic show today in Pakuranga with my old man and a few other e30 drivers @Sammo hey bro! Haha. What a lovely turnout of some beautiful vehicles. Saw my dream cars there too, the e9s and e24s. Here are some pics from today. Spent like 8 hours on my car yesterday in preparation for today (finished up at pretty much midnight). Gave her a full cut and polish with a DA polisher, painted and fitted the tech 1 wing and spent like 2 hours touching up every stone chip or paint chip on it. All temporary fixes to make sure it photographed well but I will definitely be doing some PDR and a full repaint in the next couple months. Thank you to everyone who complimented me on my car. My old man's baur was a eye catcher too but @Sammo car is a masterpiece in my eyes. Such presence!
