Looking for 4x BMW centre cap badges to suit BBS RS \ basketweave waffles (70mm).

Thanks Darren. That's a good question, I’m not sure yet.. I think I’m going to use the set that’s currently on my 15inch basketweaves for now (205/15/50). Ultimately, I’m leaning towards a set of road legal semi slicks but need to do some research and find a “good deal”.

Finally got around to doing something with these wheels, had them sitting in the garage for a few years.. Dismantled and had all nut and bolts zinced. Sourced a new set of 15inch lips slightly deeper than what they came with (+.5inch) this also increased the overall width of the the wheels (6.5 to 7inch). Had a local shop straighten the barrels and repair a crack in one. Cleaned up all four faces and prepped for paint and had new lips polished. Waiting on 4 new valve stems and hex caps to arrive, once these show up ill grab some tyres and install them on the car.

This is the oil you will need, 83222446673 - DCTF1+ transmission fluid 7 litres of it and I used just over 6 and a 1/2. Before the service when selecting reverse It would slip slightly, no longer experiencing this. In general, I think it feels better but this could be the placebo effect. Apart from the slight reverse slip there were no issues with performance, I wanted to get the service out of the way as general maintenance as the car has done 130k now. BMW say lifetime fill but I’m pretty sure this only means 100k in the real world.

After one of these if someone has one laying around..

I’m plaining to do an oil change and service on the DCT box over labour weekend. Picked up all the parts I think I need but want to check in to see if anyone has any advice, tips or tricks you could share with someone that has never done it before. I know that once I have removed the old oil, installed new filters and topped up with new oil until oil overflows from the fill plug there is a service function in ISTA that needs to be run before I can fill with remaining oil to reach capacity. Any other helpful suggestions would be much appreciated. Cheers

Last few weeks I've been hearing a suspension squeak in the front end of the e92. Replaced the front sway bar brushes. Took the car for a drive the next morning and not only is the rubbery squeaky gone but the front end feels alot tighter. Nice and easy cheap quick fix 🙂

Buy a deep socket from bunnings and cut the middle out, use a ring spanner to hold the center.

Does the fact that these are the last 2door M3 help make them more desirable in the future?

Had to make some changes to one of the factory down pipe setup. The exhaust setup I had was a 2 piece system, the Scorpion bolts up to a 3 piece system so a bit of work to get everything to line up. Just need to get some bolts and then everything will be ready to bolt back in.

Recently decided to upgrade spring / shock combination, now running H&R race springs and Koni yellow sport adjustable shocks across all 4 corners. Here's a pic of the front Koni shocks v standard Monroe's.. And last pic of the day.. with new springs / shocks installed. very happy with the look and drive feel.

Got a new half exhaust system to go in over the weekend, cant wait to hear the new exhaust note 😁

Is anyone wrecking an e30 that has this loom? The car would need to of had an OBC fitted.
