SPOTTED! The official thread

Recommended Posts

Spotted this E46 M3 today at the lights at Northcross on the North Shore.

Pretty sure it belongs to a forum member (I think his name is Jed), had distinctive vents on the bonnet, a CSL front bumper, and CSL wheels from memory.

Spotted a black E46 coupe the other morning on my commute. MASSIVE T wing on the boot, but worse than that, a MASSIVE light bar bolted to the bonnet. It was the full width of the bonnet 😟 What a stupid trend.

Spotted this tasty M-Tech E30 Coupe on the shore today.  IMG_7243.thumb.jpg.0373b88853843b8f7e08b6f785564ab9.jpg

Had to go into Carterton New World to have them call the owner of this poor M3 that had all 4 windows down in the pissing rain for 20mins.

Lady driver had no doubt held the remote unlock button down as she walked away.

What kind of person doesn't look back at their M3 just to admire it...

Saw an Estoril Blue 330ci Clubsport on Spur Road today. Can't be many of those around!

Also saw an E46 M3 convertible wearing its hard top on East-Coast Road.

Really need to invest in a dash cam so I can capture a photo of these rare beasts out in the wild!

…and this e24 I spotted a few weeks back at an automotive shop in CHCH. Originally had a MX____ plate when new, so possibly from the same dealer / NZ city as the e28 above?

I did that at work before, from inside the office. Must have been the way I was sitting. Car had a sunroof to make matters worse...

Didn't get soaked luckily, running the heater during the drive home took care of most of it.

Tidy, 325i ‘vert at Eastern Beach Sunday arvo. I didn’t notice the young lady in the drivers seat until after the photo. If you’re on here - sorry if I seemed a bit stalky! 🤦🏻

A couple of 325i e30s competing at the Hawkswood Sealed Sprint today in North Canterbury.
The black one was quite possibly the best sounding car of the day.

On the way back to CHCH, also saw a Silver-Grey E46 M3 on what looked like CSL’s heading north on SH1. Rego FZC 299
