SPOTTED! The official thread

Recommended Posts

gosh      RS2 Avant.  The one with the Porsche 2.2 turbo motor and running gear.  Holy Grail for the Audi brand.  Think it was the very first RS model.  Rare, appreciating, and awesome.   Wouldn't swap my BMW for a lot of cars - but maybe one of these.

Nice clean E87 123d at Totara Park MTB track this evening.. member?

Feel like I need to be strapping the bike to the 130 rather than hiffing it in the back of the ractis to fit in the carpark now.

Spotted my old e30 touring this morning on the way to work. Warmed my heart to see it out and about and still looking good. 😊

It's great seeing an old car being looked after and loved (case in point my old 130i M-Sport that @Jacko owns now - I love reading his update thread).

Parked at the end of a quiet street in CHCH. A pinnacle of 1980s German efficiency and luxury. Apparently the “ee” designation was a NZ thing…

You might be surprised how much you can pull with a 1-Series! Whether it is safe (or legal) to do so, is another matter.

We pulled a Haines V198 that was 1905kg dry on the trailer once with an e36 320i auto. Can’t remember how much fuel it had in it, but it was a 200l tank. Probably wouldn’t do it again.

Last night on a motorway detour up Onewa Rd, saw a nice red Mtech2 E30 followed by what sounded like a fire-breathing e36 coupe.. although there was some rice around too so the sound may not have been bmw.

Saw an Imola Red E39 M5 with the plate AWSUM5 in Paihia yesterday morning at about 9:15AM. My jaw dropped when I saw it, beautiful car! No doubt the owner is on Bimmersport.

Winner doing laps cranking sh*t rap through sh*t subs whilst having his drivers seat so far back his head was visible through back windows in a shitbox E90.

It was like watching teenagers in the 90s driving mums prelude down queen st at 11pm, who do these people think they are impressing?
