What'd you do to your BMW today?

Recommended Posts

Woah, just checked DDM Tuning and their shipping to NZ is damn near twice the cost of the item..... lame. Doesnt look like you can combine shipping either. Oh well, off to Ebay i go.

Picked up some stagged motorsport wheels and tyres off an old friend for $100! Perhaps the find of the year?

Gotta look at selling the LM reps now. How much would some 17x8 wheels with 3 month old tyres all round fetch me? I got, what I would consider as lowballed on facebook.

thats a sweet deal on those wheels. I paid way more for my set a while back. They make a hell of a difference to the stock wheels on the non-motorsports. Good choice.

Got more deets on the LM reps (PM me)? might be interested.

^ Nice wheels, good price.

What's up with the crazy aspect ratio on the picture though? Holding camera the wrong way?

Very, I was sceptical of what they'd be like at that price. Blown away when I saw they were motorsports, especially staggered.

A combination of things, holding the camera the wrong way, in a rush, trying to fit all the car in at an angle. Not my finest photography moment

I noticed that just on the drive home, it feels way more planted? Might just be a placebo effect but I was certainly sold.

I'll flick you a PM now, realistically I'd like to make my money back that I spent on the tyres at least but I don't know what kind of prices are good.

Actually while the conversation's flowing, does anybody know where I could get my hands on an mtech 2 bumper for my E46? At this point I'm willing to buy another colour, sand it down and get it resprayed if I have to.

Gave the car the wash of its life

Second that - I was dodging Rain bullets :/

Holiday consist of washing, polishing, waxing the car.. Most people go away and ask for basic facilities, I asked for a hose :D

Bought my old one a new friend. '01 530i estate, grandad spec but in really tidy condition. Soon to gain a few M bits I have left over from the parts car. Happy Daddy :)

Been drawing up an M62B44 V8 on CAD, so far got the heads mostly done, less intake ports, but the exhaust ports are all there with accuracy. Have yet to detail the block, get the mounting points etc.

Big thanks to Ray for supplying these items for the job!

Thanks Jon. Besides a bit of fun, just using it for a comparison to the 1UZ V8 for a possible M62 - E36 conversion down the road. Its the easiest way to plan and design what is required down to +/- 0.50mm

brought a 316i from some cock sucker in Hamilton and drove it home.

The guy didnt think to tell me it was deregistered until i had flown up.

I knew it had no WOF or reg, but didnt tell me no plates either. lucky i brought a set with me.

the few goodies it did have stripped etc.

Be carefull buying sh*t off Facebook lol

On the bright side, its fairly tidy on the outside, cheap, and runs well ha.
