e30 brakes problem help!

Recommended Posts

So i got my e30 325i out of the garage the other day for the first time in a long time and i instantly noticed the brakes had become shocking and very very spongey. So i bled them, checked pads, calipers etc with my very limited mechanical knowledge to no avail. There is a rather loud hissing noise coming from what sounds like below the gearbox everytime i push the pedal which must surely be the cause of the problem. Has anyone had any similar experiences or can diagnose this sound?

Thanks

Have the same problem in re: the hissing push. Brakes are spongey on spirited drives etc.

Don't have a mechanical knowledge but have I'm having my brakes checked out soon at the shops.

Ps: had a brake hose change couple months before I bought the car.

It didn't feel right when I first drove the e30... Lol compared to both my world-beater Toyotas.

Though I think the rotors need replacing though, cos the discs grind when I drive. Probs.
