Just need to find a solution to find the sump that is cost effective I've been thinking about running dual pumps to get around the same problem. No idea if it's actually doable though. Have spoken in depth with the brother in law (also a toolmaker. handy!!) and he seems to think splitting the pump in half with a connecting shaft running from front to rear will work too. Again, whether this is achievable with the standard pump remains to be seen. However, worth looking into! kerry 10 Report post Posted December 18, 2013 there is nothing wrong with these engines, we run a m62 in the open class , obviously as a race engine you need to do some internal work but they are strong and they can hold revs all day long. in my eyes they are a great conversion. even at 10k its still not a bad deal considering what you get.
