I like where this is going , you may want to mention more about the age and type as a lot of people wont know what a m90 block is

I was hoping you would have had one :(

Good point. The m90 was effectively an m88 with an m30 head on it. They were found in e12 m535i and ~1980 635csi. They rev faster than a standard m30 and can easily be stroked to 3.6L if I remember correctly.

correct was the early m30 block

early 635csi and e23 735i .

larger bore and shorter stroke

similar to the m88 block

stroke them with the later 86mm m30 crank and then rebore the cylinders to 95mm makes a 3.65L

custom high compression pistons , hot cams , later m30 34 type head with larger intake valves fitted

and you will have a pretty torquy engine.

mate of mine did one a bit like this with a turbo in a e28 track car
