Isnl that yours @Contrails?

Nope. Not mine. But it’s a mint example and I mean as good as it gets in NZ. Low kms too.

What you end up with ^^^^ when you can't decide what style of bike you want to build :)

Found an awesome 2nd hand book in Napier today, Bathurst 1985, loads of great BMW photos included such as this one.

I think I'm starting to move past that face. But only because the colour helps minimise it.

Slapping a rego plate across the middle helps break it up, but begs the question - is cooling airfow then restricted at all?

Probably not, I imagine there is a big aluminium beam in there somewhere to meet frontal impact standards and it blocks more airflow than the plate anyway.

Bulbous lines reflect the art deco designs of the 1930s

From memory the Richards car. Always nice picking up a long forgotten book or magazine 😁

Interesting... @E30 325i Rag-Top - even when I look at my quote I don't see the image but in your quote of my quote I do see the image and no text... bizarre!

FWIW - I just went to copy the text I can see (in @gjm's post that I quoted) and I can't select it as text, the text itself is an image?!?

Brain explosion. Too hard for tonight. 😂

In all honesty, you are better off not seeing that.

Might be your settings? Most work for me, but there are a couple that just say “might be picture of car and outdoors”.

I am certainly posting pics!

Perhaps even more oddly, I also sometimes see the 'might be' message, and not the picture. 😕
