Freakin brake line leaked😤😤. Fitting wrong and i never flare the end enough. First time did that alone during first lockdown......anyway...spaced the muddha and all good. ...will make a new line when I pull the motor out after cert. Franklin cams, called them today for a quote for both V8s. Said the L76 in the Ute, they get around 350-370 atw. My L98...last guy got 400kw(seems way too high) atw...but running 380 to be safe with a mental Port & polish  on heads, cam, gears, chain, rods, lifters, springs. .....and I got the long tube headers with dual 3 inch all the freaking way baybear...

Even 375kws  n/a atw  in 1200 kgs..yeahboi!!!

Such an enjoyable & pleasing part of the build....!!!🤗🤗🤗😎😎😎😎

Have to raise the gearbox and lower the driveshaft center bearing to align the driveshaft coupling to flange.

Clearances are so sweet btw!!!

Bled the clutch. My first thoughts were I would have to change the master to accomodate the V8 pressure plate...but nah. Steerling Brake advised the 3/4 bore from the e36 master would work...and....shes has a soft az paddle🤗🤗🤗

Have to get and fit the O2 sensors to the exhaust and prep and spray. Oh yea...to tidy up that rear mount of muffler. ..looks rough. Will shift it to the upper so wont be visible.

Does it work out more cost effective to have franklin cams modify your existing cams, than to buy upgraded cams?

I know this is the case with the bmw M5x and M6x engines

Last time we push this beast😬

She looking different nowdays. The semi chisel contours of the 36 feeling more defined...like shes finally almost  ready, stanced, not for low'ness, but for whats under her hood...eagerly awaiting to be unleashed!!

And those 3.5s look mental from a distance.....like..."look at this POSER"😂😂

this is the way it is meant to be

they have a reverse lockout solenoid on them, that only activates from 0-10 kmph. this makes it easy to get into reverse whist stationary and makes it near impossible to get it into reverse of you are traveling over the set speed where it de-activates the solenoid

It is to stop people going into reverse by accident because 5th and reverse are quite close together
