Can't imagine this'll hang around. Leather recaros must be pretty rare

Terminal rust. That's pushed from the inside out, I can't imagine what horrors are hiding behind the headliner and sunroof cassette.

Interesting. Saw the sunroof and initially thought it'd be a NZ new.
Looks like it was a South African car imported to Japan, and then imported to NZ. That could explain the higher options normal spec - a lot of SA cars had extras as standard that were unticked boxes on European and Australasian cars.

Needs a fair bit of TLC to bring it up to scratch - not been used for about 2 years will cause a few issues.

Got some nice goodies on it, leather, M20B25, not sure about that front bumper..

Good little project for someone who is handy, and can do rust repairs.

Bumper is a BBS item, see Sam Brockie's fully kitted car for how good it can look.

I think a Honda Elite scooter from the 1980's has been missing since a collision with this car.

That front bumper - at least in its current state on that car, at this time, is dugly.

It could be because it’s only the front, not the whole kit, that makes it look off against the rest of the car. The fact that it’s busted doesn’t help either.

But what kind of dumb f**kery is this?

I can only find 2 of my 4.  Which is really really annoying.  Haha.

That they can. E30 M3 16’s as well.

Yeah, I saw those ones go up for sale, and wondered how much a new set would be. And 3k isn't too bad, though you'll also need to throw in centre caps and tyres. But at least they won't need to be refurbished.

Yip. Surely they'd be good buggers and throw in a set of caps. However i recently bought a set of 15" caps and was told the amount left in stock internationally was very little..

Nice steering wheel? 😁

It is ridiculous for sure - seem to be a few of these clearly molested and neglected 320i / swapped sedans in un roadworthy condition trying for $10K at the moment...

They may deserve rescuing, but not at that price.

If that's the rust he is showing think of what he hasn't found

the tech term for that is "farked".  wow.  do you like steel with your helping of rust?
