The white one or the blue (TM) one? White one looks fine to me, likely can't be lower without rubbing.

White one. Looks jacked

Something weird with photos. Have they sharpened them up to abnormal levels i wonder ?

Since the 130i people are hanging about here, where can I get some black kidney grills from?

Aliexpress I've had two sets turn up of the wrong type/size.

Found some on schmiedmann that seem to be the right shape but it's 80 euros shipping ?. Anyone ordered off them know how to get cheaper shipping or recommend a freight forwarder? There's a couple of other genuine parts I'd like to order from them.

Not a 130i, but there is a 120i at Pick-a-part Mangere at the moment, with the factory aero spoiler if anyone is looking for one. Also possibly a AC Schnitzer bodykit by the looks of it? I was there yesterday and it is still mostly complete... http://www.pickapart.co.nz/eziparts/Display_Vehicle.asp?PriceListID=0&VehicleID=7796&Location=pickapartconz&LocationID=3&VehicleDesc=BMW 120i

Yes, Ali can be a nightmare in instances like this. I got mine of Schmiedmann and looking back at the invoice I got a whole bunch of stuff and the shipping as US$71. I recall adding one of their mugs dropped the shipping by US$10. If you need other stuff just try loading it into your cart to see what it does with the shipping price but their shipping prices have increased since the beginning of the year I've noticed.

I recall finding the ones with the pointy corner in the e8x shape (as opposed to e9x) quite difficult. Also remember there's matte and gloss black.

That's an interesting kit, I don't much like the front or rear bars, a bit to stylised for my taste. The side skirts look okay but not sure I can be bothered.

What about this colour? Very deep blue? Not sure I've seen one in this shade before.

Also, saw a 130i at Te Atiawa netball courts in Pram beach tonight. Had non-OEM wheels and stubby aerial in silver. Anyone on here??

Will be interesting to see what this late model auto goes for:

https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/2861212187

Given it's is a low start price it might offer a more realistic view of the market than some of the sky-high prices out there. Unless of course the reserve is sky-high also.

Assuming the comments are correct and finance, WoF and rego are sorted for sale.

Got offered 10k trade in for mine at weekend. Didn't think that was too bad.

I agree, that's pretty good for trade.

Someone offered him 12k, interested to see if they follow through with the auction sale. That was a steal at just over 7k.

Only a fool would turn down 12k for that.

The paintwork has a lot of scratches but otherwise mechanically excellent. Drives perfect. new wof, 4 new tyres and alignment, full service history for last 5 years one owner since imported in 2015 and nothing that needs attention urgently. Big bonus is nz nav enabled and has bluetooth for calling and music streaming which isnt normally an option for E chassis CIC idrive so absolutely stoked.

pretty damn happy with it and just puts a smile on my face when i drive it.

in other news a $1 res popped up today:

https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-2872228452.htm

Lots of pros and little cons. Would be interesting to see how this auction goes.

Nice one Kyu, now for some suitable wheels... how long do you think you'll keep this one for?

Another $1 reserve:

Manual - not running - https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/2872154553

If I were closer to Twizel I'd check it out... even a whole new engine is probably viable if you can pick it up for cheap.

@gofaster - keen on a project? Know a good mechanic? Good summer road trip from ChCh.

And another 2010 for $8500 (but know we know they're worth closer to $7250).
