Yeah I'm not too sure about the green but it does look pretty tidy.

Thoughts on this one? It closes in 12 hours and it's only up to 1250. Not my first choice but if it goes for like 2k or something it could be a fun do up.

How much would you expect an abs/asc module to cost? Also I've seen places in the US that make whole new genuine leather seat covers like lseat, would definitely make the interior look better. Think it has the msport multifunction wheel.

Seems like too many compromises for a silver sedan TBH - quick check on FCP Euro shows a new ABS module is $$$$

I don't think I've seen leather seat covers that look good, but then I'm pedantic with my interior.

If you don't mind a sedan there are some pretty decent looking 325i's available for in around the $4K mark.

I don't have Facebook and even with a link cannot see the vehicles without setting one up. I suspect they are limiting their market this way.

Yeah, I've found a few relatively rare bits and bobs through FB, it seems a lot of stuff never hits the wider market - one of  those coupes (listed on here as well) them sold in a couple of days at that price, think the other two are still for sale although one says 'pending'.

I always cross list with TM, surprises me that people 'marketing'  a car for sale at over $10K won't spend $50 on a TM classified.

Yeah I was wondering about that, seems like you'd be at the mercy of finding an exact module part match at a wreckers.

I know a 325i will be more peppy than my 323i (+20hp), but just wondering if I'd wish I'd gone for a 3 litre further down the track ? To be fair I don't track or race or anything like that and have hardly ever felt like the 323 needed more horsies

Yeah, a 330i is definately a better bet with 40hp / 55nm more than a 325i and likely similar fuel economy...

Keep a look out.

You should be able to get the ABS fixed approx $500. (did it on my old E39, a guy down in taupo does it. http://www.ecu.co.nz/abs)

Having owned plenty of E46 in the past, there is definitely a bit more power from the 3L in a 330i but its still no rocket.

If you find a nice 325 that ticks a lot of the other boxes I wouldnt discount it.
