It has certainly been done, but not (yet) by me.

I have ITB's on an M42B18 which is similar in many ways, and probably going to do an M44B19 in the next 12 months or so.

Keen to see who has done it, what gains they got and how many $$$.

Race Head Development have a lot of information and parts to do this task.

We are doing our second ITB fit with an 's42/ M42' motor in an '02 with lots of local help.

The precursor was an e30m44/19 car which we bought as a roller  before going into covid. Locally dynoed at 170bhp. Was meant to be the between race car until the 'o2 was up and running, which is hopefully soon.

We've just put  the e30m44/19 up on BS For Sale again. 1) As a full turn key car or 2) as a caged roller and /or  parted out pieces

Man they look nice. What $$ does this cost to do with the RHD kit?

This will help you do exactly what you want and at half the price. I'd say you would need to run an aftermarket ECU to get the benefits of them

RHD have tested on BMW ECU/Maf and work satisfactorily, I understand.
