I think that went through Manheim Damaged Auction recently? had "engine issues?" from memory.

I bet the crank is really cheap :lol:

That's actually not that bad.  Dump $10K in parts and do it yourself.
End up with a hand grenade with the pin pulled haha.

Only 140 000km too. Damn... wonder if it was abused or poorly maintained.

If I were a gambling man, I think I'd just get one that is running fine for low/mid 20's, than spend 15k+10 on one that's already frigged.

It's not an unusual milage for them to need big end bearings done. It's just they left it one drive too many! The trick is to preventatively replace them BEFORE the crank gets damaged - waiting until now that it is too late possibly makes it a MASSIVE ballache job, instead of just a big expensive job.
