N54 powered 130i manual (ex-HellBM project)

Recommended Posts

Wanting a BMW 135i but need the practicality of 4 doors and hatch?

Here is your opportunity to have the best of both worlds

Looking to sell my 2006 N54 3L twin turbo BMW 130i, 6 speed manual transmission

Ex-HellBM conversion, you can see their build thread on the Bimmersport website under Projects.

Originally this was a BMW 130i auto running the N52 engine, shell has now done approx. 75,000km

Repowered with an ex-135i N54 Engine approx. 94,700km, including original computer and speedo cluster to reflect engine mileage

Bought with intent to do some sealed autocrosses, but COVID put paid to that and no longer using it as intended.

This car is an awesome sleeper and is fully cert'd.

Specs:

N54 twin turbo 3 litre six cylinder engine

Fresh Tune by Autopassion in ChCh - now 278Kw and 520Nm (see dyno graph for their N54 tune)

6 speed manual gearbox

Quaiff LSD

BMW 335i brakes all round

BMW 135i AC Schnitzer suspension

BMW 135i exhaust

BMW 135i nose cone

H&R sway bars

Additional ACR strut brace

Aftermarket “aFe” air filters (new)

Burger Tuning N54 Charge Pipe (or similar) & TIAL BOV

Appears to have after market intercooler, unsure what type/brand

Excellent Bridgestone Potenza RE003 tyres all round on 135i staggered rims.

225/40x18 front, 255/35x18 rear

Headlining all good

Cargo net for when rear seats folded down

2 keys

WOF due Aug 2022

Registered through to Nov 2022

Very recent maintenance (within last 500km):

New Rocker cover and gasket

Oil Cooler and oil filter housing gaskets

Intake manifold gaskets

Cleaned out intake ports

New PCV hose

New drive belt, tensioner and idler pulleys

Thermostat and Water Pump

Hose from Water pump to Thermostat

Hose from Water pump to oil cooler with aluminum housing (replaced the original one which crumbled)

Top Radiator hose and expansion tank hose

New Throttle body gasket

Fresh Castrol 5W-40 engine oil and new filter

Fresh Redline gearbox oil

Probably forgotten something

Finance owing will be cleared at sale

PRICE: $23,500

Curious though what's the deal with the Dyno chart has different rego and 335i..

Hi Ashley, dyno is from development of the tune, they do not dyno each car.

you can find out more info on how the tune is created and installed below, or call Basil at Autopassion and chat to him
