Yeah and $275K NZD for a LHD 993 C2S. Can have a nicer RHD one of those for £85,000 (160K NZD) + shipping. What a joke.

It's crackup because its crackhead pricing.

I felt that car was good buying at $41k.

$60k would want to be quite a bit nicer.

Didn’t know lightbulbs spiked up in price.

Anyone want 1 x new licence plate bulb for 5k ONO - I know what I got.

This guy doesn't seem to understand the auction process  Sir, YOU where the highest bidder... no one else is willing to pay more.  That's why you were able to buy it.  Capeesh?

At your service 🤓 The response was underwhelmingly predictable.

Pretty sure looking at the other listings this is the same crowd that were trying to palm off the stuffed M5 a month ago. I recognise the candy red McLaren aftermarket rims in another listing, so clearly using multiple TM accounts to dupe people. This is just a dodgy used car dealer being a dodgy used car dealer.

I stand corrected, a quick google and opencorperates return later - they are not solely a used car stealer family, also have trade as electricians on the shore. So if ever you wanted to stereotype some stereotypes feel free - cause we all know that light switch was not $400. Although applying electrician math to the M3 you can see why it went from $40k to $60k :P

Just like to point out a) Today $40k ish is the market value for an E46 M3 and b) until a sale occurs lets forget about a potential 20k return on his investment, as, it is yet to be earned 😁

Could be, one blink and you have missed it Twistee...........

I don't ever begrudge anyone an honest living, but attempting to gouge across the board on a number of sales is a bit sad to look at - even the rims they are selling are cheaper with rubber brand new than what they are trying to get for them.

At $40k that car is probably great buying, but based on the activity of that trader I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. I would sooner spend a bit more and buy from another member if I was in the hunt for one.

How does the sunroof delete work? Does he actually mean it's a slicktop, or has the sunroof cassette been pulled out and the hole plugged?

With the way the E46 roof is constructed, it would be easier to peel the whole skin off and replace it with a slick top skin, but if you're going to that much trouble, a carbon panel would have been the way to go surely.

I think you're reading way to much into this...I think.. he just means the car was ordered without a sunroof, so it doesn't have one... which is IMHO unusual for an M3.

That's not true at all. There are loads of sunroof delete panels which are significantly cheaper and easier than a full slicktop conversion.

According to the vin this car is a non-sunroof version. It's just a lazy ad by a guy trying to flip it to make money. Sunroof delete would usually mean the sunroof has been replaced by a fixed panel to save weight.

At it again those parasites.

The absolute bloody guile of these people...

Never even mind the convertible was in far better condition with a third of the mileage.
