Twistee 474 Report post Posted Monday at 12:40 AM From what I can tell 10w60 Supercar has been discontinued, Castrol is rebranding that range and it looks like in APAC there will only be 10w60 Edge. Does anyone know if this is the case? I guess the next question is what to move to as a replacement, while not cheap Supercar was at least affordable when compared to Motul or Liqui Moly. treone 653 Report post Posted Monday at 04:26 AM Last time I was at the local dealership I asked, out of curiosity, about what the recommended oil for the v10 is. Their reply was that full synthetic 5w-30 is now recommended - and is for most of the high performance engines. I’m too scared to put this in after having rod bearings done 😢

paulo 73 Report post Posted Monday at 09:09 AM Yeah, I too would be a little hesitant about using anything other than Castrol 10W-60. I bought 10L of it from Palmside Automotive in CHCH a couple of weeks back. At that stage they had an over 20 x 5L packs still in stock. $90+GST per 5L. https://palmside.co.nz/products/castrol-edge-10w-60-5l
