  1. I need both front struts for an E21 323i they are heaver than the 318 or 320. I don't need the springs brakes or hubs any thing considered Thanks.
  2. Thanks, I do need the correct range so I can adjust it to suit a new guage. W
  3. Hi all, small problem, anyone know what the ohms range of the fuel sender from an E21 323i is, any feedback or help much appreciated Wayne
  4. Great choise of car. Without some major mods the E30 suspention will not fit. The main problem you will need to overcome is the heavy sway bar attached to the bottom arm. Any changes made in this area will effect the stearing and overall handling. You can get some uprated inserts which will give some small inprovments and stiffer springs will also help. For more than this you will need a frendly engineer and cash. Wayne Ps nolathane bushes are also helpfull.
  5. Thanks for all the replies. I may go with cap screws as I will not take the head off but just replace each bolt one at a time. The head gasket is fine and has done less than an hour of running. the main reason being I cannot be sure it was torqued correctly. Wayne
  6. hi guys can any one give me the correct torque settings for m20 head bolts and is it necessary to re torque after short running

I would love to help you out, but the pressure is on to run in the Targa in March and still so much to do. The entire fuel supply system was made with no expense spared, so to reproduce it would be very expensive. The throttle bodies can be sourced from Etchells race Parts in Tauranga and I believe Cast aliminium manifolds are available from the UK. hope that is of some help to you. W

You could be right, but they came off the E21 323i that we have, maybe they also are on the E30 323i version. You'd Probably know. W

I did a lot of research on the US forums where M20 engines are popular, and found that a well flowed and matched standard system was very hard to beat, in terms of performance. Mclaren and others spent a lot of dollars trying to up the performance of the M20 and only succeeded with small gains with there headers. A good web site is www.headersbyed.com We will probably build a stainless system at some time in the future but for now this will do. W

Hi bro, as I remember I paid to ship the car for you so you could have the wheels, as for small dogs I'll put mine against yours any day. By the way you no longer belong on this forum as you now drive a mini. (but not a real one) W

Almost, the fuel line is made from 12mm 16 Gauge 316 seamless stainless steel tube with one High impact pressure joint just as it goes through the rear fire wall.It was not possible to make the entire length with all the bends in one piece and fit it in the car. However you could pound it with a 14 pound sledge hammer and not compromise the tube or the joint. W
