  1. yea would have been genuine as it was done at BM Workshop a few years ago
  2. once i get the radiator out I'll probably be able to get a better look at where its coming from. I have had the rocker cover done once before. i guess it could be coming from above the plugs .
  3. could it possibly be another Solenoid Valve?
  4. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=DM62&mospid=47544&btnr=11_2170&hg=11&fg=15 from this page I found out one plug could be the Cam pulse generator plug, should any oil or liquid be coming from this? the other one would be the plug sitting between the number 8 & 9 on the image. which i cant seem to find yet
  5. Hey Guys, Was hoping that someone might now what the two plugs just above the lower radiator hose are on the engine end of the hose. As its dripping something that could be oil onto it. Im assuming its from one of those plugs if not both. I'm replacing the Radiator and Lower Radiator hose, and since i'll be having that space once its out to work with I'd like to know what they are and then see how easy it is to fix it while the Radiator and hose is out the way. Reason im replacing the hose is due to the oil dripping on it. Ive tried finding it on this site but havent found it yet. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.do?model=DM62&mospid=47544&hg=11 I have attached 2 pictures to try and make it easier to the area im talking about. Thanks in advance for any help on this
  6. Can someone give me a recommended Transmission Fluid for this transmission? Ive been given these options: - ATF5005 - DEX4 - Syntrans MV 9340-5 Are any of those good or is there a better one? Thanks in advanced
  7. Alright thanks for the help, will open the allan key one and have a look.
  8. So the one one that looks like a bolt is the drain plug and the other one is the fill plug? So this one is filled from the bottom up?
  9. There are 2 bolts on the bottom, one with the Hex i know is the drain plug, not sure what the other one is for... Filter?
  10. Hey guys, Ive been wanting to do my transmission flush and change the filter, I have everything ready but just cant find the fill plug anywhere. Searched the web with no luck of finding a transmission like mine. Any help would be much appreciated Here are some images of my transmission, couldn't take any wider shots cause was up on jack stands with not too much clearance.
  11. yup, i had a problem like this once, turned out to be my fuel pump, so could be the blown fuse otherwise you need to get a new fuel pump.
  12. yea true, I'm not in a rush for it and something i can live without, but would like to have that section covered up and looking nice again. Will have a hunt around locally to see what i can find. thanks
  13. oh right US$130.25 each sounds reasonable. Yea i have my sensor tucked in behind the bumper at the moment so it wont get damaged, If i disconnect it, it says the outside temperature is -40 degrees ahaha odd huh. But yea would like to have that area looking nice too, but can live without it if its too expensive for what its worth.
  14. what would make one side more expensive than the other? Would it be because of the sensor?
  15. Yea true, I have found a wrecker that had some, but they were not in the condition i was after. So was guessing I'd have to go for new, but thanks, will contact them and ask.
