williamh 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2007 I finally bought a trailer the other day and when connected "chack treailer light" warning came up on the dash - no prob we thought as brake lights did not work and suspected blown bulb. After some investigation, and better communication between checker and pedal pusher, it turns out that left indicater works the right and righ the left - no brake but yes to park lights. Checked with another car and trailer is wired up fine.... the 540 is a jap import but not come across this on other cars in the past.. any pointers on resolution - can I do myself or need to go to auto sparky?
