same here my alarm can be quite sensative so i used to just lock it with the key. 15mins later there was a rock on my front passengers seat and glass everywhere and a missing faceplate for my head unit. i learnt my lesson, now if only i could find the theft and teach him one

i see well ive chosen to just stick the muffler on and leave the piping because its cheaper to do so and i need to put money towards new front shocks and a new clutch. also it seems the performance gain was going to be minimal and i dont want it to be to loud as the e30 attracts enough attention from the 5 0 as it is! its going in on friday, will post pics

they start at $99 and go up to about $149 at repco. or you could wait until we have one of those buy a sportline steering wheel and get a boss kit for free by redemption deals. thats really the only time we sell boss kits haha
-
thats pretty good feedback and that is definitly resonable pricing on headers. its a shame im in napier though. i work next door to a muffler and exhaust place that i hear are really good. im going in on monday to get some quotes and if they are too ridiculous it mite be worth visiting al's when im up in aucks round new years
-
so you reckon some headers are in order? from what i gather they are really expensive. think i will just get the tip on and leave the rest. it may not give me more power but atleast it will look better and sound better. the 2.3ltr m20's go ok anyway.

hi all i just purchased a shiney new xhaust tip for my e30 323. i was goin to get rid of my system in favour of a 2.5in all the way to the manifold. my exsisting system is twin pipes all the way through and each pipe is about 1.25in. so my question is, will i get better flow from a single 2.5in system? because my exsisting system is the equivelint to a 2.5in so there is no point in doing it right? i dont want to get a 3in system because i dont want it to be to loud. so do i keep my system or go for the single 2.5in??

i have pretty much lost all faith in the police system and for good reason. the police 'service' has let people down time and time again and they treat anyone that fits the 'boy racer' profile like sh*t then wonder why todays youth doesnt respect the police! its the wannabe heros that tharsh their cars on the street to impress the boyz and under age gurls that ruin it for tru car enthusists that actually appriciate nice cars (like bmws!)

thanks for the advice. i had to postpone changing the fan belt because i cant seem to find the right spanner for that 'large nut' il have a proper look for it in that mess i call the garage sumtime 2mrw. i think i 2 may take off the bonnet for better access, makes me wonder what the point of a reverse opening bonnet is.. a step by step guide would be very handy, after all we all have to change the belts at sum stage or another cheers
-
dam and i thought it was going to be a quick job. the radiator is stil on as well as the other belts so it looks like i should get on to getting that stuff off cheers

its time to change my drive belt im my e30 323i. i have loosened the belt but my problem is actully removing it. the pully driving the fan is blocking the belt from coming out and putting the new one in. there is what looks like a bolt that is connecting the pully to the fan so i am guessing i need to remove this bolt somehow?? or is there another way? also i thought i better change my power steering belt as well but looking at the position of the belt and pullies it looks quite difficult to access the tensionisor. will i need to get under the car to do it or sumthing??

hey ive got a pyle 8inch roof screen only ive mounted it where the passenger side sunvisor is. it fits almost perfectly and can be seen from anywhere in the car. what u have done looks real good, ive been thinking about getting another screen cos i work at repco so they are always on sale for me! whats your rear vision like when the screen is fliped down?
