Ok because i put the engine into the car it had the cat cut off is sometimes the cat got the oxy sensors in them? If it did have one where would i find the wires or where do they start from, because if it did have them the wires have fallen off or been cut pretty sure it had one when i brought it and the guy took it out now i cant find where to put it maybe it was in the or close to the cat which he cut off. I went to pickapart an got 2 oxy sensors off the manifold but my manifold has no holes so im guessing they would go somewhere else maybe. Thanks for your help too

Ok having a look at my car i decided i might try change the oxy sensors as its in limp mode but i cant find them do some of these engines come put without them?

I still need a few things for the conversion but have pedals and gearbox which is off m20 with clutch an flywheel

Ok are those the scanners that are on trademe? Or do i have to go to bmw or is there some way i can hook up a laptop to it with some sort of program thanks for your help

Yup i know the 2.5 was better it came without the engine thats why i done it an got everything for 250 with limp mode is that why the cog symbol is showing up on the dash? Ill also put what piping ive got here on i think only vacumn hose i dont have is the one at top of engine block that goes to the air intake is that very important?

Would the fact that i havent put all the piping on yet make it go into limp mode as i only tried it to see if it went properly before i put it all together properly

Ok just done an engie swap now the gearbox pretty mich just stays in 4th i think it goes reverse algood but put in any other gear an the car feels like its in top gear. Dont have any clue about these

i have 2 front springs theyre red last time i used them they blew my shocks it went so low dont know if was old shocks or the springs how much would you pay for them

Umm this happened to my old galant it had a hydrualic clutch and had the same sypmtoms ok so wat i did to fix it was bleed the brakes and clutch both one after the other this fixed my car for around two days however mine also needed a rubber washer in the gearbox which someone fixed after i had the car so if its the same sort of thing might just be air in it somewhere like mine just rebleed everything and see if it fixes it.

Yea thought that might have been the case with the 520 should i add my flatmate got this for $250 as well. However with the M-sport e36 i am happy to say it has a sunroof and loved the sound it made running straight of the extractors well behind the end of the gearbox when i first got it started last night. az for the e34 well thats kind of sux but with the stock m50b20 in it i kind of thought it mightve been just a bodykit

thanks to the people who answered my questions you have been alot of help and as for the stupid question above this i now have a mspec e36 running for $400 bucks its got a full black leather interior and a lsd also has race suspension and alot of aftermarket hoodickies on it too, iv also got manual gear to go in it so officialy i think i have the cheapest mspec e36 car in new zealand so that is why i have done it plans r to put 328 engine on the manual box which is on a friends garage floor doing nothing and will only cost me a further $400 an throw it in once i have blown this $150 m50b20 and gearbox up. Also stock standard means nothing to me when ive got a set of $10 ac snitzer series 1s 17z to throw on it to top it off jelousy much or wat???

ok i got my e36 320 going last night but it read zero fuel with half a tank in it i pulled out the passanger side thing under the seat which i think is the fuel gauge sensor and now i cant put it back in is there some sort of trick to it sorry dumb question but its just not going in its like it never came out of my car even

yes the s50 plastic cover fits the m52 i dont think he wouldve got 4000 for a standard m52 but who knows, have an e34 here with ac snitzer decals on the side and a full ac snizter kit on it just put the chasis number in that page i was given it says nothing about ac snitzer does this mean its not genuine maybe someone will know better then me as ive only been playing with bmw 3 years supposed e36 m3 last 7 digits vin number AS50804 supposed e34 ac snitzer last 7 digits vin number BC47380 Also got the e36 going first pop after linkn the two wires together on th ews module Thanks for ya help too guys

dont know for sure new it was 2.5ltr but when i put in the vin 7 digits it said m52 i think its just been played around with alot its one of them could be anything cars from now on lol

yep i know that much as when its jacked up u spin one wheel and they both turn same direction used to have mpower engine in it thats y the guy thought it was an m3 also has m badges on the doors dont know how its not one someone spent alot of money pretending it was one lol

ok dreams are officialy shattered lol lest its an m sport though not an m3 weas the m3s at ive got two e36s for swap full black puffy leather interior is race suspension nolethyne bushes m3 skirts m3 rear bumper, lsd, m50b20 auto clear tailights which have been tinted clear side and front indicators. Second car is 1991 e38 318i on ac snitzer series 1s black leather and cloth interior aftermarket springs aftermarket headlights audi r8 style tinted back taillights and clear indicators will swap for a genuine 4 e36 m3 if its worth it can throw in a m20b20 i think theyre called with manual box attatched e30 manual pedals gearstick and surround brake booster and full engine harness with computer a few other things just wana proper m3 cheers
