Does anyone have some pfl headlights sitting around? one of my sealed up bulbs is playing up and needs replacing. Its a low beam (outer) one. I dont really want to buy a whole set cheers

The other day i noticed that only one of my headlights is working on low beam I then discovered that my right side headlights let you change the bulbs but the left side ones are sealed up. Also my park light setting uses the indicators, not the headlights. Is that normal? Anyway the outer light on the left side works on high beam but not on low beam. Is there 2 bulbs in there or am i dealing with a wiring issue? I checked that its getting power on low beam. cheers

My sunroof doesn't sit flush on one side. The previous owner has done heaps of dodgy touch ups and hes been pissing around with the sunroof quite a bit. I can see some rust has been touched up in the sunroof channel, and its a bit hard to wind it in/out. Anyway when you get it into its closed position its on an angle is there any way to adjust this? It sticks out on the right side by about 1-2cm

Hey guys, car is a 86 318i coupe The temp gauge isn't working and the previous owner has wired in an aftermarket temp gauge which works fine but I'd like to get the factory one going again. The service lights aren't coming on, previous owner said this was the case when he bought it as well. And also the fault lights panel located by the rear view mirror is missing. Was this an optional extra for e30's? And if i sourced one would it be a massive job to get it functioning? Any help or advice much appreciated

I know the front should bolt up but i read that the rear needs modification because of the lower wheel arches or something. Theres a tutorial on R3V. Yea the state of those pre facelift "diving board" bumpers in the US is a joke they look terrible Haha well its better than a 4 door auto which all my previous bimmers have been.

Hey guys im Tony and im hooked on BMWs I've just bought my 5th one. Ive owned e30-e46 sedans but this is my first REAL bmw. As its a manual and its a coupe I've just started Uni and i had a bit of cash to spend before i blew it on living expenses. Managed to pick up a '86 318i coupe 5spd for 1K! It just needs a new muffler and possibly a rear break disc skim. It's in ok condition but im hoping to slowly restore it to it's former glory. Id love to put facelift bumpers on it but i know the rear bumper is quite a mission to put on. has anyone here tried it? Im hoping to do most of the work myself so have been searching the net for the best DIY sites. R3Vlimited seems like the best one? cheers
