  1. Hey guys,

Moving soon so going through my stuff.. Few things I've found so far.

    E36 Eyebrows - $40

    E36 Pod Filter - $20

    E36 Black Grill covers - $20

The Eyebrows have been primed and painted before as they were on my car for a while. No need to re-prime, just sand and paint your colour. Pod filter came off my car. Should fit directly onto 6 cylinder M50's or M52's, prob M54s as well. The black grill covers just go over the top of your normal chrome *facelift* e36 grill. An easy way to change the look.

All items are pick up or can be shipped, prob only $7.50 postage.

Also got my old set of seats. These are free to a good home. Full set no door cards.

And got the door cards as well, all four cards for a 2 door, $200 for perfect condition door cards. They match the material on the seats.

    PM if interested. Cheers

  2. I just run the euro on the front as I my front was mangled and it was cheaper to replace via german plates but still run the standard plate on the back. I would assume this would be safe enough to run as it's the back plate that cops will be seeing not the front.

I'm intrigued that you all are of the opinion that they won't notice front plates... Every time I've been stopped has been cause they've seen the front plates, 4 times from memory.

A couple at the front of the queue at traffic lights, and a couple when they've passed on the road.

Its a very rare occurrence that a cop actually follows right behind you anyway. The one or two times I can recall a cop following me they haven't even noticed.

Not having a go, just was interested. :)

  3. Done it. Its extremely easy.

Get a couple 30amp fuses plus inline fuse holders from d*ck smith or jaycar.

When you take out the old manual seats pull up the carpet on the drivers side and there will be the main thick power cable running towards the front of the car, along next to it will be a smaller one. Use that one as your power, just tap into it.

Run a wire the right length for the drivers seat and then run another long enough to be routed underneath/around the carpet over to the passenger side. Add in the fuse holders and then connect up the loom from the donor car.

The ground can just be a wire onto a washer and bolted down on one of the 4 seat bolts when you put them back in.

Wrap any exposed wires in electrical tape or heatshrink it.

It was actually really easy. Give me a yell if I can help at all.
