thanks I checked it 2 days ago the red stick was low, but the warning only showed up once on monday and never did again. so yesterday i added water in there to test if it's leaking . after driving for a day the stick looks fine on the level. so it's not leaking either. I was told by a workshop guy I need to put 50/50 coolant/water in there and it's better to use BMW original coolant that right? how much would this normally cost though?

Hi guys, I have a BMW 525i E39 2002. Early this morning when i drive to work i noticed the "Check Coolant Level" light was on. I googled a little to try to see if that's serious, and saw posts saying it's easy to check it myself, but as I'm newbie to mechanics, how exactly do i need to do to check it? and if it turns out I need to replace something, is there some articles or blogs can read? TIA for any advices.

Hi Grant, I'll talk to you tomorrow, I just got my car registered today. I checked it's chasis and it's production date is 07/2002 so i guess it's not 2003, Nav unit at the boot says Nav system II, means MKII?

I have a BMW 525i Msports 2002 japan imported, so i think it has world tuner for it's radio, but i couldn't seem to get into the settings in tv. I've read jochen's post on how to change radio settings, but i couldn't find the 'M' button at all. I tried pressing every button on my tv unit for at least 10 sec, none of them took me into the menu described. does anyone know how to do it?

Hi, I just bought a BMW 525i, but i'm stuck on the key i couldn't get it to work properly i have to keep pressing all of them a lot of times to either lock or unlock the car. does anyone know how to use it properly? like which is lock and which is unlock? i cant upload image here, i think its a master key, the big one, round top and squire bottom, on the surface are one round button and one rectangle button. any help is appreciated thanks
