Sourced out a 3.15 210mm out of a large case e34 diff so will probably go with that. Thanks again. Edit: The 210mm Large case was only fitted to the M5 and 540i e34's all the others had the 188mm medium case diff (Just for future reference as i found little info about this online) Yeah, done all that just wanted to know what the original ratios where for the box.

Yeah sorry should have said, its a e34 model. Has the original Auto diff (unsure of ratio) and have now got a getrag 250 in it. Revs i bit on the highway and 1st is pritty much useless. Just would like to know what ratio would suit.

Anybody know the correct diff ratio for a getrag 250 ? from what I understand its ment to be a 3.45

Thanks guys, conversion done. Ended up costing me $400 for a 160mm extension on the gearbox end of my e36 drive shaft I used. Thanks everyone for the help, much appreciated .

Hi guys, Just wanted to ask if any one had experience in extending there drive shafts and what sort of cost was involved. I have a 1991 E34 and i'm currently doing a Auto to Manual conversion on it, the Ds will need to be extended 150mm. What cost should i expect to see? It will most definitely need a new flange as well. Could some one please list an approx cost? Its a M50 and im fitting a Getrag250 behind it. Cheers

Its 140mm from the center of the holes also the wrecker conveniently wrote "E34 525i M20" on the front. Thanks for the help on that, Anyone know a good places to buy clutches in NZ for the setup above ? . Thanks

I believe its a Getrag 260 but heres the numbers One on the back : 260.0.1.0.60.91 On at the front : 260.0.1346.96 Cheers
