Hey hoping someone can help out please.
My e46 has one of those on-board monitor with TV setups, tape-deck up front, stacker in the back etc. I want to hook up a DVD Player or iPod but there are no video or audio inputs.
I'm going to do a full install, subs, components, DVD Player, iPod etc. Plan is to install a headdeck either in the glovebox or where the centre vents are and run all of the audio through that instead of the monitor. Not worried about the boot stacker it can go in the bin for all I care.
This setup will solve my no audio input problem with the monitor, and the poor sound quality and lack of control it was going to give me anyway.
But this still leaves 2 problems:
1: No video input to the monitor so no DVD/iPod
2: No audio output from the monitor for normal tv channels
Any help as to what I need to do or change of setup etc. would be much appreciated.
