Correct, likely not installed standard, most weren't. As Milan check your build sheet at BMWVIN.com
Added Bluetooth to ours it was a hefty $1600 for that alone, then radio and nav on top to convert from Jap version
Just checked the build sheet....not fitted :-(
Thanks All.

Hi All,
I have been trawling through pages and pages of info on Google... There are several posts in various forums saying that Bluetooth is standard in models produced after 2004...is this correct? If so, how do I set it up as currently it doesn't show on the idrive. Cheers
-
Do you still have the last one?
-
Cheers Brent...All fitted and looking good!
Will definately head to you first for anything needed in the future.

Morning All,
Does anyone know where I can get a set of wind deflectors for my E60? I know I can probably go direct to BMW, but no doubt they will be a LOT more expensive. Cheers

Going in to NZ performance Tuning today...Will let you know feedback when I get it back tomorrow :-)

Morning All,
Has anyone used these guys?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers

Sounds great, I'll try and get a clip up sometime. Good thing is that it's not just that annoying drone all the time, just a good sound under acceleration. Very happy!

Anyone know how much it is to get the bluetooth done on the E60? Also, who to go to in Auckland?

Been away from the BMW for a while, but not too long in coming back. Thought I'd put some pics of my M5 ....not :-) 530 up. More than happy and cant afford the real thing....one day :-)
Even although it has already had a few things done, i'll be thinking of the next changes.
Glad to be back!

Hi All,
Just picked up an '06 325 saloon. It has I-Drive fitted which I got changed from Jap to NZ as part of the sale. I thought bluetooth was standard in the i-Drive, but since found out it's not. Any idea how much it is to have bluetooth fitted?
Cheers

Just got a quote from a well know detailer........HOLY S##T!!!!!
$800.......and that's if it has no swirls, etc..
Still Looking...

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a good car detailer? I have what i would call a good base to work with, ie. it's already clean (or what i think is clean) and it also has quite a good shine, but not showroom or show condition...I'm sure this can be improved.
Howick/Pakuranga/East TAmaki would be great.
Cheers

I have commited a sin this afternoon....BMW gone and replaced with a 350GT Skyline..
I apologise sincerely to all Bimmersporters!!
Will keep my eye in anyway as no doubt I will end up with another one sometime...just a bit bigger.

Before I go any further, I don't have the option of changing the car...(not for another 12 Months).
Anyway, I get itchy feet at least twice a year and usually just change cars. This time I can't. So to keep me happy I want to make some mods to the car.....in a $4-5k budget.
So what would you do? Ideally I'd like a quicker responce to the throttle and a bit more HP.
My thoughs are (but not knowing the cost)...
1. Supercharger / turbo?
2. Exhaust?
3. V8 Transplant?
Wouldn't be able to do any of them myself unfortunately, so need to factor this in the cost.

Will Do... Cheers Glenn.Ring me in the morning Ph. 2722546

Hi All,
My daughter needs her Auto Box on her VW checked out....It's got a harsh change between 1-2nd. We had it fully drained and filled with Synthetic transmission fluid, but not made any difference. No doubt there are other things to check before we start looking for a gearbox.
If anyone knows any good places to take it to in East Aucks (Howick/East Tamaki/Penrose, etc)... Cheers

What kind of palm and how big? I'm not an arborist but might be interested in sharing the cost if it can be relocated.
Hi Julian,
It is a queen palm (I think) and about 8-10mts high.
Let me know...

Looking to get a large Palm cut down and removed from the front Garden... Not needing the roots ground, quite happy for it to be cut flat at the base.
Give me a shout if your interested (Cash in Hand)..

Hi All...
Wonder if you can help? My daughter finally bout another car... not a BM, but a VW (Golf VR6). She only bought it last night, but when she got it home I had a quick drive in it.... Overall it doesn't seem to bad, but the change between 1st and 2nd on the auto is quite harsh.
Is this something that can be fixed easily, if so how?
Also seems to be pulling slightly to the left...might be tracking?
Any help will be appreciated..I'm just hoping she has not wasted her cash...

I do agree......I'm going to get flamed to hell for this, but any new driver should be driving a Manual. If you can't cope with a Manual you can't cope with the road.
Unless you are disabled.
She can drive manual, but certainly more used to the Automatic......and if it makes me happier when she is out on the road that she doesn't have too much to think about then this is what she'll get. If she wants to change when she's older then all good.
