Dimmer

Hi guys, On Sunday I went to Piha with my e46 2001, on the way there everything was fine. On the way back, I noticed I lost alot of power? and my transmission light came on???? The whole way back I felt like the car was driving on 3rd gear only? My car has only done 97,000ks. When I got home I thought id leave it and try afew hours later. 6 hours later I turned it on, and the light had gone and it started driving normal???? Should I worry? Does anyone know what this could be? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for all your replies guys. Ill try sort this thing out. Much appreciated. I now have another issue to sort out... My airbag light is constantly on. It happened when my mate (whos quite heavy) sat in the passenger seat, I have a feeling he may have broken the sensor under the passenger seat?

Hi there, I have a 2001 318i e46 black. My problem is that my key sometimes plays up.. When I try lock the car with the lock button, it locks it then right away unlocks it again... I have to press the lock button around 3 - 6 times for it to lock because of this. Sometimes maybe even more times for it to stay locked. Also sometimes when I start to drive, normally it should lock all the doors as i drive off... Lately it locks as im driving off, then unlocks instantly???? Any suggestions please? By the way I tried to resync my key by putting it in ignition then turning once, taking it off and holding unlock then pressing lock x 3 then release... did nothing. If someone could help out that would be much appreciated

Hi there, I just have a small, quite irritating problem. My seat is reclined to the worst possible position, its probably at an exact 90 degree angle maybe 80 degrees. Its very uncomfortable to drive like this. The recliner wont go back or forth. Its just stuck. All other functions in the seat work. It tilts fine, it goes back and forth horizontally. When I press the button to recline backwards all I can hear is the motor moving, but no motion. Its just completely stuck. Im not sure if the problem is with the motor or what? I thought about buying a right front electric power seat motor from ebay, but I just want to know if anyone has any other suggestions that it could be? I dont even enjoy driving it.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
