got the wireing done had a radiator made added a aem 700hp pump and reg
fuel pressure and oil pressure wired in to the uce for logging and saftey cutting
turbo has not been done dont think my mate is very motivated thort add give it a qick start up just as a system check anyway

yer i guy from link just cleared it up for me the options in there for some reason its called a ls1 3-12 or 5-10 and the numbers are to do with the width its running g4+ extreme so full sequential

getting confusing now i remember the 60-2 tooth set up on the m50 making perfect sens i got it running my self but this 24 with no teeth missing i dont get it at all may have to leave start up the the pros sux it somethings not right thenill have to stick it back on the tailor and head all they my back up north

couple update got my loom back from nzef1 modded and labeled top job
sump from US vorslag recommendation f-body camaro sump
also mocked up some headers form some old mani parts
also done some fuel lines
and recommendation on what i should do with the rails
is there any benefit from feeding the two rails separate
or as good to just feed it around full circle
im planing to do a y join and feed separate but there will be lot of fittings and what not seem a little untidy

i built a e30v8 to try my hand at drifting last yer just a dirty old 5ltr commy engine in a dereg body nothing fancy
turns out a got no skill on a track made a good skid machine tho entered a couple skidking comps down in Auckland
and whangarei then reved it to high on a wet pad and that was the end of that

or$500 with stranded m20 flywheel and clutch kit

only after money for the motor and manual bits
i leave to work early and get back to late to sort the courier only free on weekends and nothings open in this town
the motor is all there i pulled it down to re ring because it started to smoke and ended up scoring a v8
the motor looks good inside no lip on the bore pistons have no carbon buildup at all
its a very lively engine with massive induction noise
and it has also had some cam work
at this stage every thing is there minis loom
be a mean e30 conversion $800 package deal

whats the most done thing there 7 series rear end im guessing
is it a straight forward conversion
i got a few diffs lying around here but all medium case
the commy manual ratio is around 345
my lsd is 373 witch i thought will make it feal more like bmw gearing nice and lively
i hadn't even thought about strength

im a bit of a back yard mach didn't measure anything maybe the bolt holes.
and then just put the motor were a thought it should go
made the main mount pipe a bit longer than necessary and started trimming it down until it fit then welded the mounts in place
thats why you can see a change of color in the mounts the first ones got melted they were sacrificial one anyway
sounds crude i no but its in the right spot and it firm
the motor will have to come out to change the sump so im thinking of making a jig for them see how it gose
headers down the right side looks like a mission the vorslag steering shaft would bee a must
luck my headers will be going forward to turbo and exit out the left hand side
i had to relocate abs unit a little bit luck for rhd we only have to move it over a bit
the lhd have a dirty old brake booster in the way so they have to put it right up the front
alos having the steering rack on the left means ample room for turbo exhaust to exit

yer the guys are right stock fuel reg is as good as any
i only went this way because i was in to shiny bits at the time
thees injectors will work with stock rail il message some pics lata
i think my megasurit will need modding for vanos

i have some 550cc injectors in a m50 rail with the fpr bypassed so you can use rising rate reg also have ms1xtra with ignition module and a m50 tune and a lazy m50 turbo mani with a 38mm wastegate on it mani's a bit home made tho $600 for the lot if your interested be a good place to start
you would want to go none vanos if you run megasuirt don't think they have the ability to switch vanos

ok now i no shes a runner time to move on
my mates mate ray has not even started the mode for the turbo im told so iv decided to throw on a holset hx50
i wouldn't say its a happy fit but it fits
i will need to make some heat shields here and there and have every thing ceramic coated butt it will work
exhuast seams to exit nicely over the steer rack just below alti feeling confident
