  1. This is a one of a kind e28 BMW. The car has been through a complete rebuild using only genuine BMW Motorsport parts.

*19x8.5 Konig Profils shod with 235/35r19 Achilles ATR Sports. The wheels were custom ordered from the factory in the USA by me.

*New exhaust system thanks to pitstop Greenlane, gives it that BMW rumble - it's not loud.

    *Momo steering wheel

    *Motorsport blue leather interior.

    *Tinted.

*Coolant, tail light etc warning lights.

    *Pager alarm system.

*Lowered, motorsport rear suspension with lowered springs, koni adjustables in the front, these were rebuilt 6 months ago.

    *New radiator hosings.

    The list could go on........

A testiment to the build quality and classiness of this car is the fact that it has all the luxuries like aircon, power windows, power steering, ABS, sunroof etc.

It has been serviced reg at Jerry Clayton BMW and has been really well looked after.

I am only selling as it is not practicle with my new job in the construction industry.

I have bought a new car so am not interested in swaps.

Do not text me, if you have the money to buy the car you can afford the phone call.

Tyre kickers don't waste my time, I'm not going to let every Tom, Dick or Harry take this for a test drive, show me the money and you can drive it.

Ideally I would love this to go to someone who's going to continue looking after it.

  2. Hi all,

Time for the BMW to be sold, working for a construction company it's just not practical anymore =(

Will post up the details when I get home tonight, most of you know about it anyway.

Looking for 'around' 9k due to the work that has been done on this vehicle, you couldn't build it for anywhere near that.

Call me (Kimmie) on 021 070 5713 if interested.

No tyre kickers, I will not let every tom, dick and harry test drive it!

I have brought a new car so am not interested in swaps...unless you have a 3/4 chopper and cash my way =)

  3. Well my new wheels finally arrived a couple of months ago, thought I should really put some pics up, I think they give the car a nice look, may not be everyone's cup of tea though.

They're 19x8.5 20p Konig Profils, ordered specially through the factory for my car, oh the percs of my old job. A guy with an E36 bought my old wheels so they'll be rolling around Auckland somewhere, oh and my 20mm adapters are for sale if anyone needs them.

  4. Yup def goes to show not all apples are the same, thanks for your imput, past experiences and opinions guys.

Brent your M535i, 2k? What a joke! I drove one of those with the standard engine when I was looking at going genuine instead of my bitser, beautiful car, can only imagine what it would go like with the M5 engine in it now, it looks mint aswell, I def go for between 10-15k, 2k is laughable.

  5. Yeah agreed value means I still need a valuation unfortunately.

    *update*

State just called me, I've been with them for 10 years, the car has been insured with them for 2 but they will no longer insure it after closer inspection as it's too modified, apparently they have a new computer system and if it's over 25% modified it's no longer insurable, fantastic! So that's a big thanks for your business over the last ten years, we'll insure your evo 5 but not your bimmer now f.off.

  6. Hey all,

I need to get my bimmer valued for insurance purposes as they keep devaluing it each year, I would have thought being that it is a 1984 car it is pretty much devalued as much as it was going to get, unless I rolled bowled and a**holed it, aparently not.

I need to go through a licenced dealer and get a valuation in writing, I know my car is a bit of a bitser, but it's my baby so is really well looked after which means it's mint and has been rebuilt using only genuine parts, can anyone suggest somewhere that is going to give it a fair valuation?

    Thanks for your help.

For those of you who don't know what my car looks like here it is:

  7. Considering BMW fit 235/40's on 7.5 inch wide I would be advocating 235 or 245 on an 8 inch rim.235 and 245 will fit in stock guards with no mods if offset is correct.

Whats the point of the extra rim width if you are not using it to get extra rubber?

I sell wheels day in day out that's my job, most people go for extra rim width for either A - the drift look (silly), or B to try and fill up the guards nicely.

  8. Any chance of getting some girlie sized ones? I won a small t-shirt at the last meet which is awesome but it fits like a nighty so i haven't worn it.....am happy to supply my own plain black top as us woman are fussy with fitment if someone could get it printed for me??

  9. Final Battle is normally pretty dull, I'm suprised it's still happening this year to be honest because no-one can be bothered turning up and putting on a good display/show. In saying that though the shows do seem to be changing allot so you never know what this one will be like.

I might be able to get us a really good floor space if you want me to so you don't end up stuck in a corner somewhere....husband used to judge.
