  1. Classic Cover has been pretty affordable, but they only really cover pre-2000 cars - I'm not sure what qualifies as a classic.

    I'm 24 and my E30 M3 was insured for $50k for $350/year, limited to 5000km. I just got a quote on a $40k M Coupe (a 1999, but not registered until 2001 so they inititially came back at $3500!) for $600/year, limited to 5000km.

Apparently they don't usually cover under 25's but do in certain cases, worth a try I guess?

  2. I lease a couple of Toyota's, have bought Ford and Subaru. To be honest they are all pretty sh*t, but Toyota seems to be better in service and reliability - Sucks having to service every 7500km for diesel though. If Holden customer service is anything like Ford I know where I would be avoiding.

Having said that, went for a drive in a Omega Sportwagon last week for a rep and it doesn't seem too bad? The Toyota is completely gutless and not sold on the Mondeo.

  3. The new owner is an older guy, he is not currently living in NZ full time but is planning to spend more time here. I imagine he will be joining the BMW Club but probably won't be joining up to Bimmersport.

    Cheers

Edit (Simon): - Willie I've taken the liberty of moving this thread to the For Sale section as you are selling your own car, not discussing something 3rd party on TM.

Members I have cleaned this thread up, removing all but those posts relevant to the sale of this fine automobile. The price is the price, and if you are in a position to negotiate it, by all means do so with "savant" via phone, PM or email. Anyone transgressing this simple rule or spoiling this or any other topic with unsolicited garbage will have their posts deleted and face probable account suspension.

    Yours dutifully,

    King M*ppet ;)
