Looking at getting my 2001 E38 735i converted to LPG. Has anyone done this conversion in an e38 (or e39/X5 with a M62 V8) ?? Does anyone recommend an installer in Wellington (or North island) ?? any other help/ideas hugely appreciated.. Cheers Andrew

Hey again, As above there is a difference between changing language and radio frequency - so how i did mine was got a band expander (cost $60 all up) then changed the language so I can understand what the screen is saying - works perfectly, picks up all the local stations and alot cheaper at $60 than what you will pay for anything else. Cheers Andrew

Hey all, Sorry about delays in thanking you all for the info. Out of pure luck, tonight I managed to change the language from Japanese to English so thats a huge help to it all. Long run I would mind looking into a Dynavin unit but wanting to keep my 735i as original as can be. As I am new to this all will stick up some photos of my car asap. Thanks all, Andrew -
Hey people, bought my first BMW last friday, and only thing wrong with it is the fact that it is a Japanese import so the screen is basically useless to me. Can anyone tell me what the best way to go about changing this to english is? I am based in Wellington so is there any locals that can work on these to make them NZ new spec? Whats the quality of the "plug and play" items on trademe for the e38's? Car is a 2001 BMW 735i Motorsport All help will be hugely appreciated, Cheers Andrew
