I took my left vent window off today to replace the trim.

All went honky doory until I discovered two wires attached to a black strip which runs vertically up the window.

Any idea on what these do/are? The window is definatly not automatic. Wires were yellow and red/brown.

My first post here, bought an e36 coupe from a member here a few weeks back - love it!

Have just taken it on its first longish drive, all went superbly apart from something collecting my front grid mesh insert in the bumper. Gutted. Surely these are cheap and easy to install?

I'm also after a few other things, seems like a good opportunity:

-center console with cup inserts (can these just clip onto current?)

-18 button obc

-rear window and boot trim (common cracking apparently?)

-3 spoke steering wheel.

The clutch is also going, can anyone recommend a replacement setup and place to procure?
