I've got a 1989 BMW E30 325I with an M20 engine in, the AC doesn't have a belt on at the minute. Does anyone know the size of the belt? I've got two sizes but I'm not sure which one... 12.5 x 810 - P/N 64521706826 or 12.5 x 823 KLIMA P/N 64551722990 Anyone got an idea on which one to get? Regards

Just the inspection light, will take it out and refit....the car is absolutely fine apart from that

Removed my airfilter yesterday to check if was recently changed which it was and when I started the engine the inspection light came on...anyone had this before? The service light has 2 green bars left on it...

Anyone got an idea of what this could be, maybe a bad eearthing point? I put my hand on the solenoid while a friend tried to start the car. I felt the contacts inside the solenoid, once the key was turned back it made a funny noise from the solenoid. Hit it a few times and moved the wires and it started.....

Need to take the car in next week as it fails to start....had a look at the obvious symptons and I don't have time to do it myself..... Any good recommendation?

Ok just an update, ended up 'hitting' the starter motor and it worked, still on and off but sometimes it starts other times it doesn't....the relay I think ticks twice then stops. Bad connectors?

I used jump leads yesterday and had no luck, the electrics work in the car and then dim when I turn the key to crank.....

Ok so after leaving it last night I eft the car until 4pm today without trying it, I tried it again and had no hope, tried it for a second time and it didn't start but after 5 seconds of holding the starter motor started! The car eventually started but it was very rough running and the radiator fan was on too....give it a few revs and it was idling funny, once it was warm this idling trouble stopped and everytime I pushed the accelerator it revved fine....Ggive the car a blast for 45minutes turned it off and now it won't start again.... Any ideas? Regards

Yep, batterys fairly new, just ttried the jump leads still no change Regards
