hey guys,
this might be quite a simple question, but I have a 1993 BMW 318is which im trying to remove current 4-spoke srs worn steering wheel on, to replace with a near new wheel from a 1996 320i.
the problem im having is that I can feel behind the 4 spokes, and there are 'screw holes' but they look more like metal 'grommits' than any sort of screw. I'm unsure if I should just be prying the SRS unit out as i've tried and it feels like im going to snap something or bend the screw driver.
heres a picture from behind, anyone know if im just meant to pry the airbag unit off? if so, does anyone know if the 1996 320i 4 spoke wheel (with 2 torx screws) will fit the 318is properly (the srs connector & the column)?
