  1. I dont really trust the fuel gauge in any car though, been in too many run out of fuel situations. i fill the E30 at 400km, the E34 at 4-500miles depending if town driving or roadtrip, and the econovan at 300km. some cars when full it points 10 degrees further round when it is full so when its empty it still looks like its got more.

Anyways thats all off topic. dodgy gauges is sometimes a result of loose grounding nuts which are also the mounting nuts on the back of the cluster. id check those are tight enough for a start.

Yeah I've been in too many of those too, would be lucky if I can get 400km out of the E30 <_<

  2. I'm not sure if this is faulty but seeing that this post is related, this is what I have right now...

Was risky driving around like this tonight, so not really sure if my refill light doesn't work or there's an inaccurate gauge playing here...

  3. Boring words-no-pictures update.

Parts from Jon arrived this week... only had time to put in the fogs relay. The lights have been playing up lately I've no idea why but probably a problem with the wiring or something... :|

Looking to re-freshen up the side mirrors with flat black or colour match it alpinewhite...

  4. Just another random update for future references sake...

    - Will be sourcing some parts from fellow member JKSE i.e. the driver's door handle, the K8 relay and the passenger side mirror hopefully the logistics of that will be sorted by the end of the week hopefully...

    - Going to check the dizzy cap and possibly replacing the whole thing plus the cables to get started on the internals, as far as I've checked when I first bought the car the sparks are okay...

Having busy weekends so hardly having proper time to show some love with the car -_-

  5. Hi everyone,

I've swapped out my old E30 interiors into a much more fresher one off a mate (L0WBMW) over the weekend so my old ones will be of no use...

All the doorcards (rear and front) were removed very carefully, are clean and undamaged. So are the rear seats. The front two seats however has seen better days, rips where the bum hits as shown on the photo.

Fabric-wise the front seats are saveable if they're re-upholstered, mechanically everything works just like a seat.

I'm thinking of giving this away for $200, the whole lot, but make me an offer if you want.

    Cheers.

    E

  6. sounds normal to me...

you might have forgotten how poor the brakes are after not driving it for a while :P

give it another bleed, i do rears 1st jacked up, then fronts jacked up

It didn't feel right when I first drove the e30... Lol compared to both my world-beater Toyotas.

Though I think the rotors need replacing though, cos the discs grind when I drive. Probs.
