  1. There's a BMW branded glass polish that worked well for me in the past. Special order from any BMW dealerships, around $30.

    Part number 83 12 0 009 881

Ask for it by the part number, as Team McMillan and Jerry Clayton's parts people had no idea when I ask them for "Glass Polish".

it appears the stains are pretty well etched and haven't shifted with the other brands, but will look into the BM polish as well -

  2. Hi,

I would recommend Meguiar's scratch x it is designed for removing scratches from paint but I have had very good results using it on glass leaving the glass very polished and smooth and the water will beads up and blows off when it rains.

Use a soft damp cloth and expect to be there a while. dont go anywhere near it with scotch brite, steel wool, or any heavy duty cutting compound

    Dave.

thanks Dave - will give it a go

  3. Genuine E30 carpet sets are no longer available world wide. We have been down that track. Made up ones will never look exactly the same as the genuine carpets are made in a mould.

carpets have steamed cleaned ok fortunately ,but getting driver's seat covered (0271 Indigo) will be the challenge

  4. I will have a mint blue/green (not a standard BMW colour, kinda like lagunengrün-metallic but still a different shade/ more blue in it) 1991 bmw manual 320i completely original done about 210,000 thou kms which will be for sale in about 3weeks if your interested in waiting (Just cleaning her up and replacing bits, getting her in sale condition). Will be looking for around $4000 cash but can be talked down. It does have a few little chips on the bonnet and will come on bottle tops, half a black leather interior with a recent service. Belts, thermostat, water pump done recently and have receipts. 1-1 end drive ratio awesome for cruising on the motorway and long drives, will come with factory diff as well. Pm me with your details if your interested and i can send photos.

    Cheers

  7. Hi guys -new member.

    Looking for E30 Manual 318/320 -upto $5000.

Have looked at quite a few off Trade Me but when inspected not as described. "Mint" is very loosely interpreted.

Car needs to have service history -cambelt ,water pump etc .

Straight no damage;good paint; good trim (seat tears and minor dash crack considered ); no dents.

Standard as possible without the boot full of subwoofers .

If there is anything out there close to this, just let me know. Am in Auckland but happy to travel for the right car.
