Firstly. It sounds definitely like a blown head gasket. Once blown there is only 1 real course of action and that is get it replaced as the car is useless atm. The repair can be expensive. Parts needed are - New Head Gasket kit - The head will need to be re-machined to remove any distortion due to overheating. - It normally is advisable to get the head pressure tested at this stage to ensure its not cracked as well. While you are at this stage its a good idea to consider replacing the cambelt and waterpump but this clearly increases your costs Then you need to pay a Guy to do all this..... Prices can vary greatly from car to car. costs can easily be between $800 and upto $1500 upwards with cambelt etc As to your oil light that sounds like a seperate issue to me

I need a couple of useless heads to develop some porting profiles. I plan to wirecut 1 in half to gauge how much wall section is available. Then i plan to throw that data into a cad program and CNC a few new porting electrodes which i would use to spark erode new profiles. Once thats done I would flow test them to gauge the results.

Where is it cracked? What is the cam and valves like etc?

Hi all I have a de-registered E30 325i for sale. Most parts available. I had to jump start the car as the starter motor isent working. Engine idles rough but i think thats because of the injectors. I need to keep reving the engine to keep it running or it dies. The Chap i bought it off overfilled the oil and it was belching smoke but it seems ok now just very greasy ..... The suspension is modified so the car sits lower. I havent had time to check out what the suspension is yet but it looks like its been done properly 17" mags available but are in rough condition and need attention. Please list what you are interested in all parts available at this stage If someone wanted the whole car id consider that also at this stage or give me a call 021 2730800
