Hey guys, trying to track down a stock dme and headers for an s50b30 euro for a friend. Let me know if youve got anything kicking about or even any recommendations. Cheers
-
Youd be best to import the manual gear from the USA, they seem to have the highest amount of 6spds.
-
Seems like an awful lot of effort for not going to a manual!

Better knock off a grand then
Ol funny guy eh, I did put ono on there. You should buy it as a spare Julian
-
Cool thanks for the feedback guys.
Yeah I understand the market for an 850i is very very small.
Front badge is a stock one the paint has flaked off, I did debate replacing it but then I guess if thats the case where do I stop!
I better get it up on trademe as well, undercut CHCH European lol -
Am I asking too much? Opinions?
-
Cheers Jason, ive tried the upside down pump nozzle, unfortunately it didnt help. Im going to get into the inner guard and check the breather valve.
-
Breather problem it is, cheers
-
Also Julian, do you find your 850 to be a pain to fill with fuel? Fuel seems to cavitate in the filler and trips the pump nozzles safety constantly. I end up standing there slowly filling the car . Is yours the same? Otherwise I might have a tank breather issue.

Hey guys,
Im putting my 1990 850i up for sale, shes LHD, 66700km, 5.0l v12 Auto, on stock 16s, black interior, with an Alpina front lip.
Ive replaced both drive shaft UJs, the rear half of the exhaust (its rather loud at idle but sounds great under power) both batteries (with new bosch units) fuel filters, fuel pumps and all rubber fuel lines. I replaced both front lower arms and fit 4 new Hankooks for compliance.
She drives very well, shifts nicely and runs smoothly. I had the roof and bootlid repainted as it appeared itd been left under a dirty car cover.
Will come with a new wof on sale (currently 2 months in on its compliance wof) and pretty much 6months rego
Car is located in Rolleston Chch, test drives and inspections welcome.
Best to call or txt me on 0273677368 as Im not on here all that often.
Im asking $15500ono
Cheers -

what's in the diff?
Looks like a fun car. Videos next time
A lot of MIG welding , Honestly Id prefer a good 2way as the car gets a bit of push understeer but the price was right for the locker
-
do you have a build thread somewhere?
No sorry dude, theres not much to it really. Its a stock 325000km 323i Motorsport, has a lightweight flywheel, getrag 220 manual conversion, BC coilovers, an alloy radiator, full interior strip out including heater and most of the wiring and a 6 point cage, It makes a pretty good circuit hack but I had to run 55psi in the rears and throw it in as fast as itd go to make it through the drift section. A bonus of low power is that I only used 4 second hand 225/40/18s for the entire day

When I say euro headers I mean to suit the euro s50, not the poxxy American version that was basically a 3 litre m52
