  1. I hope someone can help me!!

I really need no later than 3pm today (Friday):

    15x original BBS RS bolts

    1x original BBS RS nut

I managed to cock up my torque setting (33lb/ft instead of 23lb/ft) and snap 15 bolts. They were all in but hyper extended and as soon as you touched the nuts the bolts snapped in half!

I'm willing to pay, buy you new bolts, swap for other bits, split a wheel myself to get bolts out - whatever it takes.. Just need them tomorrow if possible!! Many thanks in advance for anyone who can help!

I may recommend Arrow Wheels...just google them...I 90% certain they will have bolts suitable for BBS...Ive asked just about every shop and they all recommend Arrow Wheels since they do custom made 3 piece wheels...BGW used to import them but have since stopped...so now they are much harder to source...but give them a try...with the RS nut...you mean the aluminum cap nut? I think I know someone who may have just one spare...

  2. Hi. I have an 93' e36 325i Coupe. The tyres are in good condition and I had them balanced recently. I thought this would solve the problem. I commute to Queenstown everyday from Kingston. The shuddering is on some corners at speeds above 70kph. I drive around this problem at present by regulating my speeds and my lines, but even on straights starting at 100kph it will shudder. I have driven through to 120kph till it stopped. It is not an extremely aggressive shudder, but very annoying. Could it be a wheel alignment or something else? I have also checked the tyre pressures are correct. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I had similar issues prior to the balancing of individual wheel...check to see if there may be marks where the balancing weights may have fallen off?

Check to see if your wheel nuts are on correctly.

  3. My company develops software for all of these platforms - I've had iPhone2, 3, 3GS, 4, Nexus Ones, HTC Heros etc etc - you get the picture. I use a Nexus One and iPhone4 daily.

    Simple way to choose.

If you are a geek, mingy on money and love to hack your phone and proud when it does stuff others don't. Make calls, email, twitter, web etc.

    ** Android

If you just want to use your phone, email, twitter, apps, web etc, but not too much geek stuff - just get stuff done.

** iPhone (or Win7, but it is very limited even compared to iPhone.)

If you don't want any friends

** Nokia or Blackberry. (They are so far behind, and nothing coming up. I've seen their previews - no clue.)

    :D

Apps a better on iPhone. Android Marketplace is a bit hit and miss, but there are some good ones there. I like both, but when I need to quickly make calls, email etc etc, I naturally go for the iPhone.

Fairly good summary...Got the HTC Desire...Android...screws Nokia over...used the Nokia N8 for a bit...still no where as nice...

Android is slowly getting there...more than more quality apps but will still be a while before it does catch up to Apple...

  4. what??? a spring is a spring. It will sag to the same height wether it's upside down or not

70mm at the back sounds like a lot. Reverse rake

Im not entirely certain about that but there is a left and right for the front suspension springs...

new2thisgame...give Jono...from Mag&Tyre Direct a call about lowering...I think they can offer a better deal and they are bloody good at what they do...

    Mag and Tyre Direct

Mag and Turbo...Ive dealt with them and I cant say I was happy with their service...

  5. Come to the BBQ meet in a few weeks, I should have some style 5's on an E36, then you can make me an offer :D

Or get some of the 17" BBS reps Jono has?

I would be interested...considered those rep BBS but Ill pass since the offset was too high. Is your Style 5 the low offset version? any chance of photos? I should be able to come to the BBQ but finish work pretty late...

  6. Haha yea my foolish attempt at knowing something

Ive seen the concave ones as 2 piece before so thought they were the only other RC's

Guess the correct term for mine must be RC### motorsport then

hey, no problems bud...we all learn from here and there...and I dont blame you...BBS/BMW have some of the most complicated system for their wheel names lol. The RC041/42 are one of the lightest 17" BBS wheels available...8kg each...
