  1. hi guys, i've just bought a set of 18" wheels for my e46. the wheels size are 18x8.5, offset 38. and my car has been lowered about 40mm front & 35mm rear. i'd like to know what size of tyres would fill the guards nicely without rubbing. been told that I should go for 225/40/18 front, 245/40/18 rear or 225/45 all around???? what do you think? i don't know much about tyres. hope someone here could help me out. thanks
  2. thanks for reply. i don't know the name of the panel beater. it's on vivian st, just beside mac shop. they said they will charge me $500 at least, and it's a discount price for me, because i just got my rear bumper repaired there few weeks ago. i will ring Blair wight later, see if they can give me a better quote or not. Cheers

  8. Hi Guys My car is E46 318i, the airbag light came on yesterday, and my friend has used the electronic device to identify that the problem was the passenger seat (actually was the Mat? in the passenger seat has faulty or broken somewhere), and he reset the airbag warning light but it keeps coming back on. Anyone know what causes the light to come on? Where should i go to get it fixed in wellington? Any idea how much it will cost? any help-much appreciated Nick

  11. hi guys, will X5 wheels (18 X 8.5) fit on a E46? the Stud Patterns should be same, but not sure about offset. Cheers Nick
  12. Hey thanks for the replies, that was very helpful, i'm not going to put them on as you guys said it is Not worth the cost or risk of having to have reversed. will try to find the right size speakers. anyway, do you guys know what are the speaker sizes for 99 E46? 5" or 6"? thanks guys
  13. Does anybody know will the 6"x9" speaker fit on 99 E46? Because I bought a pair of speaker from Noel leeming today, but my installer says it doesn't fit on my car, the size is too big. I can't do refund or swap, because i bought these speakers as part of the package, i've already installed the headunit. But someone told me that it can be fitted if i could find a speaker adapter for my E46. I don't have much knowledge on car electronics so I just wondering that does anyone konw about this? thanks for any help.
  14. thanks, should be h7 i think, but will check it later anyway.
