I got these same ones, only my silver fern was changed for the BMW logo the same as the ones you get at a BMW dealer. I doubt you'd have any problems, Ive been through a few checkpoints and the occasional parking warden yell at me but no mention of the legality of the plates.
Looks mint, and much better than spending like $400 or $600 on 'proper' NZ euro plates huh?!
Thanks for the compliments...Def happy with them...better than the japanese plate holders

Ha I was going to say the same thing!! Is it extra to get them put on??
But seriously, they look very styley!! I have to say that too 'cos I've had mine on for a week now and I'm stoked with them too. Haven't got around to taking pics yet.
Good work! They are a bargain IMO
haha....altho i have heard some people have been given tickets for having them tho as they are not LTSA ones.....will wait and see!!

So who is gonna make a Bimmersport Compilation CD then? And you are forgetting Nik Kershaw - The Riddle!

You can also get a decent Bluetooth Pioneer stereo or Sony for that matter so then you have a built in Hands free kit!

Where did you get it done/costs etc?Trust me colour coding the skirts (and the bottom of the front and rear bumpers) makes the car look so much better, have done it to at least 5 cars now and makes the car look much sportier.

Who has one and what would you recommend. I have the E36 coupe. Prefer to get an Insurance approved one.

Or, shock horror..., you could catch a bus
you would NEVER catch me on a loser cruiser

Thats ridiculous, even if they put the price of petrol up people are still going to drive....
The price of petrol has nearly doubled over the last 6 years and there's still the same amount of cars on the road if not more.
Futhermore if you hadn't realised the nation isn't getting any slimmer, the majority of people would still rather drive than get on a push bike or walk no matter what the price of fuel is.
My 2c
Mavrick
I am with you on this one Mavrick. Can you imagine people cycling over the Harbour Bridge every day?!!!

Those rims don't look too bad to be honest. I wouldn't go bigger than 17"s, they are a good compromise in terms of handling, ride quality and looks, and tyre prices are still pretty decent. Also remember 17" is what they put on the E36 m3.
18" look better but will feel harsher, tyres are pricier.
19"s, just say no. And try to go with lighter wheels if you can.
Yeah thought about 17's dont think i would go to 18's as it would look a bit weird. As for colour coding the side skirts...not too sure on that one!
