Hi guys..
With my e39, if i leave it on the last position of the key(fuel pump primed / everything on) for 20-30 sec it wont start.. just cranks
But if i start it before the 20-30 seconds it starts??
Obviously not a major problem but annoying sometimes
Is this normal?

what brand are the rtab's?
they are from an english company, not sure the name, but they make bushes for many cars

e36 rear trailing arm bushes (RTAB), new. Softish urethane so not to hard for road use. $80
e36 rear mudguards oem $25
-
rear trailing arm bushing - brand new urethane $80
mudguards - $25

Where abouts are you located?
Ive been looking on and off for a set for a while for my coupe. Are they oem?
I am in Auckland too- howick, they are oem.

Lots of americans whinge about this and I agree - the thing with british tuners is they show you the estimate flywheel figure which can often be hyperinflated and inaccurate.

The black/black lidded fluid container thing to the left of the airbox/front of engine bay?
My one doesnt seem to have it

I bet the shifter is as sloppy as jelly though? All the old e30's I have tried had a shifter you could move around heaps when in gear, unless you replace the bushings.
my manual gearbox in my e28 M535i has done 505,000km now and still feels good . and i do trash it on tracks when i can.
auto's annoy me , changing gear when i dont want them to , slower take off and you have to use your brakes far more often because the auto's dont do much engine braking .
and they weigh about twice the weight of a manual gearbox

Ive got the same problem with my e30. I just mabe a vacuum that went off the engine and hooked it up to the slave cylinder.
Thanks, wouldnt that suck fluid into the engine ?
-
Hi all, I'm trying to bleed the clutch the manual way, open slave bleeder, pump pedal, close bleeder.. etc
But it just drops to the floor? The brake fluid tank is filled up to the top (which is shared with the clutch?)
I have now read on the net it can be tricky doing this
