  1. M325i Yes you raised an interesting point here, and a good one.

However quoting the build number won't give you an address of the owner and is freely viewed on M registery website, I only made that quote as part of the plate was visiable and as you mentioned that any Pic's shouldn't have the plate in full view.

The owner doesn't live in Parnell, and whemn I had my car I never got any requests from anyone if I approved to be on aany website, but toatlly agree maybe it needs to something of a rule going forward?

Is anyone able to remove the Plate of the Pic?

  2. Mine is still in LHD and orginal Cond, (as Conrad pointed out ) other than the Scorpion exhaust. This allows me to market mine off shore, as there is a limited market for RHD, and never really understood why Blair's car ( 3 numbers between each of the cars) got converted as it's been in NZ for a number of years.

  3. What you need to consider, is this car is registered in NZ currently so even though everyone mentions it's cheaper off shore which no one is disagreeing, you still need to import the car to NZ, pay duty and GST and are you going to pay that kind of money viewing it on the Internet, so add an return air fare to this plus how are going to reg, the car here?

Sometimes if it's a rare car it's worth paying the extra $$$ if you want it parked in your garage.

But not everyone would want to do this.

  4. I agree that you never recoupe your dollars when doing a full restro, and nor does the current owner but there appears there is a few intrested parties , and even to the stage that a figure was offered and it was much higher than Palazzo felt where it sits in the market and was turned down.

The e28 m5 maybe rear, but it's a ugly car compared to the E30M3 which looks fast sitting still and has good curves and does't date compared to other models, and we could go as far to say the same for the e30 series as a whole. It was only a few years ago a e30 was at give away prices, now your hard pressed to find a good one, and if you do they are getting good money now.

As performance, I believe this version was issued with the updated motor which was the 2.3 215ph motor, so it would still get and and go but it's certianly no track car.

As others have already mentioned, we see it at different values, but at this stage and been on the market less than a week a figured has been offered higher than others see it as.

  5. The restro costs more than what he is asking. He has a full docoumentation of the rebuild which was stripped back to bare metal and all parts were either brand new from BMW or rebuilt to brand new standards.

These cars are more rear than the EVO3 which by the way he also owns. His car was with Doug's at Concourse and came runner up for BMW last year.

In this case I doubt the milage comes into the equation.

As EDDY mentioned the photo does very little compare to seeing it in the flesh
