Sorry Camberley, all parts have now sold aside from the wheel

Edit 06/03: all parts sold aside from style 66 wheel.
My m540i was written off by a stolen Nissan Safari before I got around to fitting any of these parts. Time to let them go.
Where applicable the parts suit a facelift E39 with the M62B44 engine.
Everything is new except for the water pump.

Sorry no it went a while ago.

Yea Sedgwick did a good job of the market value assessment. They ended up landing on a number very close to what I paid for it. They've assessed two other cards for me/Vero in the last two years and always been fair.
It'd be nice to see as much of the car re-used as possible. To keep others alive. Rather than getting trashed at pick-a-part. I'd part it myself but haven't the space or time.

Hi all
My E39 has been written off by a minor in a stolen Nissan Safari.
Vero has offered me the wreck for $1,500, which I actually thought was quite steep. Anyway I just thought I'd see if anyone from the Bimmersport community wants it first? Let me know by this Sunday 21 March via PM.
- The only panels not damaged by the hit are the front bumper, LR door, LR quarter and boot.
- The RR wheel has been toed in too, so there's something bent back there.
- The M60B44 had not had its timing chains done and was idling rough when cold due to a suspected faulty vanos unit or two. But once warmed up it hummed along nicely. The gearbox was a little whiney when warm. It moved through the forward gears well but would be slow to engage reverse.
- Had the seat twist issue.
Can't think of any other issues. No leaks. Just wof-ed a month prior to the hit.
The wreck will need to be collected from Ngauranga.

Does anyone in NZ offer Vanos unit rebuilds? For an M62 in my case.

I saw this today in the city. It's a real head-turner. Congratulations and keep up the good work.

Cool car. Do you have a gauge as to how the servicing stacks up compared with the E60 M5?
-
Bump?
-
Cheers, looks like a last resort but I'll keep you in mind if I do get it.
Anyone else?
-
Just to attach a bike rack to. No need for wiring or burly towing capacity.
I'm in Auckland
Any out there?
-
Cool I'll take them. will send pm
-
Hopefully someone has these lying around? After a center console window switch not a door one. And just the rotary headlight switch as mine is feeling a little fragile.
Thanks
-
What dimension are the tyres? Do they fit an E46 well - no rubbing under hard cornering etc?
-
Struggling a bit here. Tyres must be wofable. Bump.

Mercenary that link doesn't work. Maybe PM me?
I'm strictly after E36 offset and something in Auckland region.
Thanks

15/16/17" not really phased just want some OEM wheels and tyres for my E36 325. Understand that factory width is 225 but I'd be happy to go narrower.

Fantastic!

Happy birthday Glenn!

Nice work. Any chance of a link to the CarPlay module you used? I've just picked up a 3.0tdi B8 which has the same cockpit & interface.
