SLA is 4 days to get a car off ship and off wharf (can take a lot longer in busy periods) then transport to Welly, PDI, groom… So it’s not a quick process!
Thanks Jon

Meant to be off the ship on March 4. How long does it typically take to get a car ready?

To be fair I did something similar with my M135i. I took advantage of the half price listing to get it up and am slowly getting the photos etc sorted now. I did have a reasonable description though.

My iX1 is arriving 4 March!

2012 F20 BMW M135i in Alpine White with Alcantara interior.
Only 78,XXX km.
No modifications.
Starting price (reserve) is set at the trade price. I’d rather someone who really wants one to have it at this price rather than a dealer!
Reserve = $17500
Buy now = $19500

Interior quality and feel was much better, in the same design themes as the iX models.
Whilst it was the 18i petrol, not the BEV, it was still a remarkably good drive and response. I would the iX1 would be even more so with the increased power and added instant torque.
Quite a few customers have now looked at and driven the petrol demos and placed iX1 orders off the back of it, so the response has been positive.
Thanks Jon. I’ve reserved one through Continental in Wellington. Still waiting for final pricing though.

Hi all
I was wondering whether anyone is considering the new iX1? The reviews sound pretty good and I think it looks fantastic for a small SUV.
300BHP as well which isn't must less than my admittedly much lighter M135i.

Had a lot of fun doing the route Paul suggested. Need to clean part of a poor bird off the front of the M135i though

Thanks very much guys. Off to google maps to check these out.

Hi all
I’m heading over to the Wairarapa with a friend this week. Does anyone have any recommendations for great driving roads?

Awesome I just bought myself a white m135i

Thanks Olaf. I have the same concerns! Might stick to Caltex unless anyone has tried the chemical guys.

Hi all
i don't have facilities to clean my car and wondered if anyone tried either of the following:
1. http://smartwash.nz/ in Newtown, Wellington
2. Chemical guys EcoSmart-RU Waterless Car Wash & Wax : http://detaildepot.co.nz/product/chemical-guys-wac_707ru_16-ecosmart-ru-waterless-car-wash-wax/
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

No problem. What part of Wellington are you in? We are Newtown based.
We considered the iX3 but as you say the iX1 is faster/AWD and I prefer the styling (obviously personal choice). The iX3 has slightly higher range but I don't think this will be an issue for us. Also its ~$20k cheaper
